Way too much $$ - Prices on web need updating. During these times, with economic hardships, most businesses are working to help there customers by lowering their prices, giving out coupons or staying moderately priced. Not so at Ford's, the prices listed on the internet, while already high priced, are substantially lower than what's published in the eatery. Some of the cashiers were curt, the sodas are over priced. I ordered a large soda, which looked like a small. Ive received better service and prices at Carls Jr. I called in my order and it ended up being a $17 meal, WHAT! Unless you want to throw money down a toilet dont go until they (Fords) really wants your business, because right now, They Dont deserve it! Trying to make sure my money goes back into the community is a JOKE. Until the community really wants my business, Ill be at the restaurant chains.…
Not worth the price. Had heard good things. Hamburger was at best average and fries below average. Go to the Squeeze Inn if you want the real thing. I would suggest In n Out before Ford's.
Never Open?. OK, I can't believe how much the owner of this place does not appreciate it's popularity. The past 6 times I have gone to this establishment he's closed. He seems to not like working so every now and then he narrows the open window. The last time I went there was at 7:15pm and there he sat at the first table thru the door and proudly told me "we're closed". I had gone to this establishment many times after 8pm and never had this problem so I was bewildered. This is very confusing to me because every business owner knows how important consistancy is but this guy missed the memo. They used to be open on Sundays so one Sunday afternoon I took a friend over to have a burger and he was closed on Sundays. Then he decided to open on Sundays, but only for 3-4 hours. So I won't go back because I have given him ample chances to keep my business but he doesn't care... He wants to be closed. And it always seems to be when I want a Fords burger. I have one more scenario to report. A friend and I went to Fords at 8:30pm on a weeknight. We ordered our food and sat patiently for our food for over a half hour. Now, when you go to Fords you do not want to be in a hurry because it does take awhile to get the food prepared. So that is why we waited and waited. During our conversation the place had pretty much cleared out and the only person in the dining area was the gal who took our order. She was cleaning tables in anticipation of CLOSING (surprised?) at 9pm. At 9:03 she announces to us that "we're closed and we need to lock the doors".. We looked at her and said "You haven't served us yet, we are still waiting for our order"... She was so embarassed and the owner cooked our burgers and gave us our money back. But this does show how much they concentrate on being closed...…
tasty Ford's Real Hamburgers. As far as hamburgers go, this hamburger is one of the best! There are other tasty things to eat hear as well, such as hot dogs, polish dogs, chicken patties, onion rings, and other tasty items similar.…
Best Burger in Sacramento!.
Sounds like the last reviewer has a bit of Southern California-envy, but I have to agree with their review of the food at Ford's. THE BURGERS ARE FRIGGIN' DELICIOUS!
There probably isn't a burger that can rival a Double Double from In n' Out, but the burgers at Ford's comes very close. The patties are handmade and the produce is fresh. Get there before 7 p.m., though, because they shut down right on time.
These burgers top the ones from The Squeeze Inn any day!…
