I went to Dr. O'Brien after a horrible experience with another Sacramento dentist. My teeth were a mess; my previous dentist had given me ugly fillings and couldn't get a crown into my mouth without chipping it. When I got to Dr. O'Brien's office for the first time, he gave me a very thorough exam and spent about 45 minutes with me. He showed me with camera and x-rays what was wrong with my teeth, and caught a cavity my prior dentist hadn't even seen. Since then, my oral health seems and feels much improved. Dr. O'Brien has a very pleasant demeanor, and his staff are great too. I've always been seen on time, and after a procedure, Dr. O'Brien will call you at home to see if you are OK. Used to be afraid to go to the dentist, not anymore!
Pros: Gentle, thorough
Cons: Office in a yucky location
