Great Food Bad Service. it's my 50th birthday, bottle of Dom $118.00. mentioned it was my 50th birthday. Patrons let in with their shirt tails hanging out. Food was great But the service was "Bad". Bottom line is the waiter never came back after our order and then food. We poured our own Dom, Not even asked if we wanted desert. it's my birthday and we were never offered any free deserts. like the other review I read.our check in just a piece of paper thrown on the table and said I'll be your cashier. no book for my card nothing. he never came back, on the back of my Amex it says ask for ID, they never did either one of them. and when I brought it to their attention the comment was made ." yeah I guess I should" ... but never did..
Excellent for a Birthday dinner. I greatly enjoyed my birthday dinner at Scott's Seafood. We went to the one on Greenback in Folsom though. The Macademia Nut Halibut is fabulous. My husband's filet mignon was a little undercooked for his tastes. Dessert was wonderful. We got to pick our choice of desserts and then it was given to us compliments of the restaurant since it was my birthday. Highly reccommend the Chocolate volcano cake.
Yummy Food. This was a nice place to celebrate a birthday. The wait staff was pleasant and the food was good. We ordered the bay shrimp cocktail for appetizer and they put a little too much cocktail sauce. The meal I ordered which was the salmon was cooked well but liked flavor. My date ordered the steak and he enjoyed it very much. It was a little hard to find as there was so sign outside with the name and we had to circle around the parking lot at Loehmanns Plaza to find it. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend it.
This seafood chain has a leg up on Sac fish markets..
The Scene
Scott's has established itself on the Sacramento seafood scene with a fine selection of fresh, dependable menu items and an elegant atmosphere. The bar is especially pretty, and it's a good spot for a cold, dry martini after work.
The Food
Oysters on the half shell are always available, and you can't go wrong with most of the grilled items. Of special note are the pepper-coated char rare ahi tuna appetizer and the macadamia nut-crusted halibut. Flavorful salads are also a high point at Scott's, as is the extra-sour French bread. Avoid the pepper-crusted salmon. The tomato coulis, sweet corn relish and portabella risotto cakes served with this dish result in an irritating culinary jumble, and the pepper crust fights unpleasantly with the subtle salmon flavor.
