Bad Service; Bad Food.
I have recently gone to this location and I was very disappointed with their new menu, the prices, the taste of the food and the service!! My waitress took too long for every step and at some times I had to get other servers to do things, like get the check or ketchup.
The food was disgusting in taste and flavor with both my dish and my boyfriends. I dont recall the food being that bad. Also the ambiance is beginning to look very ugly and dim. I would have rather gone to McDonalds and I hate McDonalds.
Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles..
In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.
Goofy place. Remember Chachkys from the movie Office Space (if you haven't seen the movie, go out and by it, it's worth it, especially if you work in an office)? This is it in living color. I can only imagine the manager telling the waiters they aren't smiling enough or having enough fun, or wearing flair. I happened to go once when it was "hat day". Every single waiter and waitress was wearing a hat, like it was mandatory, it's kind of depressing. But anyway, the food is typical american food. The tables are crowded together and always full of people. Not fun if you have a baby.
TGIFound this place. Yes, it's a chain and right across the street from other chain places, (and Bucca di Beppo or whatever it's called) but the friendly staff and great atmosphere along with the consistantly good food makes this one of my favorite places to go for lunch or dinner. The Jack Daniel's menu choices are great, you can even get the sauce on the side if you don't order from the JD choices. It's a good place to take a date or go with a group. It's not romantic but their moderate prices won't break the bank either.
