Recycled Food at Cheap prices
by ViP at Citysearch
Yes this is correct. In order to sell cheap food, Kavari is selling Unhygenic & Recycled leftover customer foods such as Sambar, Chutneys & gravies. (Saw waiter pouring chutney in a large bowl. Why?)
Saw chef went to restroom & out without hearing of any running water from sink. Waiter sneezed on food.
This was my last trip to Kaveri.
- Pros: Good Food
- Cons: Unhygenic & Recycled leftover customer foods
The Details on Kaveri Madras Cuisine
Eat Your Greens:
Invite your vegetarian friends; they have just as many choices as meat eaters.
Some Like it Hot:
Except for the tomato-based appetizer sauce, which has quite a bite, you have to let the waiter know if you want your food made extra spicy.
Bon Appetizer:
The samosas (fried dough) are a yummy start, fried in veggie oil but crispy rather than soggy, and stuffed with meat or vegetables.
Wash it Down:
Go authentic with a King Fisher beer, palatable even to those who normally shun ales as too "beery."
