view & uploadHorrible food. i have visited this place so many times with friends, family and others but never find any improvement. they fake all punjabi dishes. we cook at home better punjabi dishes. even the frozen food are tastier than theirs. I stopped going their when we found hair in our dish. Dont waste money and time. there are better south indian and north indian restaurants nearby may e at 15 - 20 mins but worth taking that drive instead of putting up with kaveri.
poor food quality. The food was of poor quality. It was truly tasteless. The sambar seemed to be days old and was nasty. It was a very good restaurant but definitely not anymore. The food overall seemed to be recycled.
best place 2 enjoy the food. buffet is very good. gulab jam is awesome. nice service.nice environment with good music.i am again prefer kavari
Horrible Old Nast Food!.
This Was a Horrible Experience for food!I was Expecting something yummy its turned out to be old, cold, nasty food!!Nothing was hot everything was cold and the Naan were like a day old!Never go there thats what i think the baddest resturant in town!!!!
DONT GOO YOU FEEL LIKE THROWING UP AFTER YOU EAT JUST DONT GOO!
Recycled Food at Cheap prices.
Yes this is correct. In order to sell cheap food, Kavari is selling Unhygenic & Recycled leftover customer foods such as Sambar, Chutneys & gravies. (Saw waiter pouring chutney in a large bowl. Why?)
Saw chef went to restroom & out without hearing of any running water from sink. Waiter sneezed on food.
This was my last trip to Kaveri.
Best Indian food in TOwn. Most Indian quisine tends to be of the Northern Indian kind here in the USA, since most Indians immigrants in this area are from the Northern part of India. So to find a Southern Indian resturant and that too, a good quality one, is rather unique. If you are one of those folks who loves the Tandoori and Chicken curry style food, you too won't be disappointed. However if you want some good Southern Indian food (most of it is Vegetarian and I'm not a vegetarian) try the Dosa, Idli and the rasam, you can't go wrong with any three of them.
killa south indian food. Excellent food, great buffet, cheap prices, and sombre atmosphere. I have thoroughly enjoyed each one of my visits. If you like South Indian cuisine, this is the place to get some killa dosai (especially the spicy masala......mmm good ) I would say its the best Indian food in town.
Best Indian food in the neighborhood.
I usually call in my order, then go pick it up.
Beautiful place, food is excellent. A fine dining experience.
Wonderful Indian food. We eat at this restaurant at least once a month. It's busy, and quite small, and the service can be lacking, but, the food makes up for it all the way. The buffet is always hot and fresh, and the price isn't too bad. This restaurant beats out the others in Sacramento. I love this place!
They are all about money..no customer service. We planned our Anniversary party there, we were told one price and when we went the price went way up as well. We were told we cannot spend more than 45 mins..which was bizzarre. We had to leave and we celeberated our ann. at another indian rest. . We would never recommend it to anyone.
