This is hands-down my dad's favorite restaurant in Sacramento. The service is helpful & friendly. The portions are generous. This is not a place to come by yourself, you need at least 1 other person with you to eat everything. The food is delicious - the harira (starter soup) is tasty, the Morrocan 'salad' plate is full of good things (dilled potatos, eggplant, carrots, etc), and the pastilla is a wonderful combination of savory & sweet. All of the entrees are good - I've never had a bad dish. If you like lamb, this is a good place for you. Finishing with a small glass of mint tea & a square of Moroccan pastry is the perfect finish to the meal. Come prepared to eat with your fingers. If you want a spoon, the staff will provide one, but where's the fun in that? Great restaurant, great food. Reservations are a definite on Fridays & Saturdays - the bellydancers are very talented. Highly recommend!

This food was excellent and very exotic. Do not expect to see silver ware as the food is expected to be eaten with the hands. From the cushions on the floor to the copper table tops, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was timely and friendly.

This is a very fun, unique place to go have dinner. I have read a few of the reviews and was shocked anyone would not love it. If you are looking for a fast meal, then go to Taco Bell... This is a nice long meal, with entertainment to boot! A dancer comes out in the evening and entertains the tables. The second time we went to the resturant, my Daughter had her Jasmine outfit on! Food is very good and there is lots of it! Highly recommend.
