Longtime Sacramento area Chinese Buffet. Have been eating here for over 20 years. Moved away for a few years came back and it is still great! The flavor and quality of food is excellant and consistant! Lunch is scaled back slightly in its offerings compared to dinner but you will be satisfied! The price from lunch($6) to dinner is a modest increase but the value for what is offered and what you get is exceptional and definately worth it! All of the old time favorites are offered including chow mein, non-breaded sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, pepper chicken, delicious brandy fried chicken, terriyaki chicken wings, egg foo yung, egg rolls, pot stickers, cream cheese/crab fried won ton, fried rice, steam rice, chinese soups, salads, jello, pudding and this is just lunch! At dinner more meat and seafood dishes are offered like delicious chinese BBQ ribs, foil wrapped chicken and fried prawns. Always great and friendly service. Drinks are frequently replenished including water and used plates are quickly removed to allow room for more! The owners are always there to greet you with a smile and occasionally check on you to see if all is ok at your table. The steam tables, floors and restrooms are always clean. All of this has always made us feel safe eaing here and a definate dining pleasure!

Best Chinese Food In Sacramento. chung king is one of the best restaurants i have ever been to.My family has been going there for generations and never had a single complaint.This place is delicious and very friendly.They also have a decent price compared to other place with high cost with low taste in food.Thank You

Worst Chinese food. I went there the other day with my daughter because we always wanted to try the place, I always pass it up because the parking lot seem to always be empty! I now see why the the parking lot is always empty! The food selection was not Chinese at all, of course there was pork fried rice and white rice, the white rice wasn't even in a rice cooker to keep it nice and warm like other Chinese buffet's. For the so called broccoli and beef, where's the beef? also not a large selection maybe around 12 dishes the buffet trays were not full even when they refilled them 20 minutes later, the food taste real bland, and the way to the buffet is narrow all the way around, very crowded. The waitresses were nice, although I did not appreciate them adding a dollar tip onto my total! The audacity! Oh yeah there was no dessert, if you call pudding the only dessert!

It was really cheap, $6.25 for lunch and you do get $6.25 worth.I will not go back!

Poor Selection, tasteless food. I went there the other day because me and my roommate heard how cheep it is. When we got there we realized what a mistake it was. There is only about 10-15 different options to eat and many of them were completely empty and were not refilled for 20+ min. To top it off the food wasn't even that great compared to taste of china on howe (which i highly recommend only $1 dollar more and much better selection). The people that worked there were all nice and courteous but definitely not going back

A waste of tme and money. Bad service and food. Took a tip from my credit card while giving bad service. Small selection of food and not very asian. I gave them 1 star because I felt sorry.

Chung King. I have known Chung King since it has opened and it is my all time favorite place to eat and work. It is quiet and has good food I think everyone should at least try it. I just guess I am a total sac girl.

Definitely a No No!. This restaurant offers poor selection of food and customer service was awful. The food is pretty fatty, not Chinese at all, and taste really bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are willing to pay for the price for poor food.
