Great service. Awesome atmosphere.
Recently I went to see Bill Burr. He is the funniest Comic I have seen in a long time. The club was clean and nice. The waitress was great and my service was fabulous.
If I had one complaint, I guess, it is that the club was so busy. But the staff helped us find great seats and we where able to 4 rounds of drinks. I can't wait until I go there again.
Terrible service, management didn't care.
I went to the puchline for my birthday to see Charlie Murphy. I was forced to sit a small table with six adults; I couldn't reach the table to eat my food. There were tall men sitting at the front of our table and I couldn't see the stage. When I asked the management to reseat us, I was told that I they would not move us. When I pointed to an empty table they told me that that particular table was for the handicapped, (wheel chair accessible) Later I saw them seat people that were not handicapped. The club enforces a two-drink minimum; we ordered our first round of drinks from the very rude waitress. Later in the show I tried to order another drink three times and was told to wait, the waitress said that she would get to us. I walked up to the bar and tried to order a drink, the manager told me that I could only order from my cocktail waitress. I explained that I tried to order from her, however the manager didn't seem to care and would not let me place an order. The cocktail waitress passed us a total of twelve times before she finally got to us, however that was two hours after the original order was placed and the show was almost over.
I found it very difficult to enjoy the show because of the way I was treated and because of seating arrangement. I would not recommend this place to anyone for the sole fact the management and the wait staffs was so unaccommodating, and were not in slightest apologetic about their policies and lack of service. I paid a lot of money for the tickets, drinks, and food, and regret it.
Please do not support a business that deems it acceptable to treat its patrons in this manner.
Guzzle drinks and get in a few guffaws at this top-notch comedy club..
A wall of photos featuring grinning comics greets every visitor to Punch Line, where the overwhelming pink decor and neon screams party time. There's a long, well-stocked bar and a ton of tiny chairs and small, pink-clothed, glass-protected tables in a large, open-seating area. Everything faces the red curtains through which such comics as Jay Mohr and Emo Phillips and the Punch Line All Stars step to perform five nights a week.
Get your name on the mailing list to receive the calendar of comics, and call for show information and advance tickets (seating is first come, first served). The doors open at 7pm and the first (or only, depending on the day) show starts at 8:30pm. Nosh on appetizers, sandwiches, pizza, soup and salad, pasta and/or dessert before the show.
