Great fish and curry. Great food. Went back a second time and it was as good as it was the first time. The curry was just like I enjoy, not overwhelming, but spicy enough to bite. The vegetables in the curry were cooked to perfection, with just enough crisp left in them. The service was on time and attentive.
Good Food-Fast Service. The food is good here, not great, but good. The service is fast and friendly. Nice, quiet atmosphere.
Fresh, fresh, fresh . . . and delicious!!!.
This is my favorite Thai place in town. It might not be the fanciest, or have the finest decor, but if what you're really interested in is the food, then this place is hard to beat!
The ambience is serene, the service polite and unobtrusive and the menu is great, with something for everyone. My husband is a delicate petal and can't cope with hot & spicy foods. I, on the other hand, will willingly tough out a plate of 'Thai hot' food - and that's about as hot as it gets, before dialling 911!!! At the Thai Cottage, hubby can choose from wildly flavorful dishes, without having to sacrifice his delicate tastebuds, while I can happily sweat it out!
Their satay is simply the best and if you can manage dessert, treat yourself to the mango and sticky rice concoction that leaves you happy to die right there and then!
Prices are incredibly reasonable for great flavor, fresh ingredients and a lovely, tranquil dining experience!
I love Thai Palms. I am a regular there. I think it's cheesy when people go to a restaurant once and then write a review on it. I love their food and the service is very good. The only time the service is slow is during lunch rush, so be patient if you go then. The atmosphere is very pretty, and they make the best chicken satay ever.
Bad Food, Bad Service. Coming from the Silicon Valley, I know good Thai food. I've tried Thai Palms for the first time and I know I'm never coming back. I ordered a beef dish and it was under cooked. I moved on to the next dish which was Pad Thai. The dish had too much noodles and hardly has any tofu, egg, prawns/shrimp, and bean sprouts. The sauce tasted like it just came out of the box! Worse Thai food I've ever had. And what's up with the uncomfortable chairs? Service was poor! Don't even bother going there and just try other Thai restaurants that are hightly rated here on City Search.
My boyfriend and I recently went on a date to Thai Palms. Overall I highly recommend the restaurant for those who enjoy Asian foods, and especially spicy foods!
The food it fantastic, the service was adequate, and the prices are fair, not cheap, cheap but not expensive.
The only thing I didn't like was the chairs, they are very uncomfortable! If they got different chairs I think they should opt for new chairs. Otherwise everything else was good.
Warning: The Thai Hot is very hot, but if you like that its great! Oh and the dessert was fantastic, I forget what is called but it was hot mango over hot sweet sticky rice, and it was great! I will defiantly go back.
Heaven. I have been going to Thai Cottage for the past 6 years. I love this place! The lemon grass soup with coconut milk and add some spice is the best ever! Also I suggest trying the number 28 on the menu! I love this place, it's my favorite eatery!
Watch Out for Unlisted Ingredients. My family and I ate at Thai Palms on Saturday and had an interesting experience. We ordered a salad (the #14), which does not have shrimp listed as one of the ingredients (which I am very allergic to). We had quite a surprise when the salad arrived with shrimp in it. There were only 3 sets of customers in the restaurant and the couple at the table across from us also got the wrong order. The food that we kept was very delicious, however, the service was lacking. The waitress, however, did take the cost of the salad off of the bill.
