The staff here used swearing words & made a racist remark. I have been eating Steve's Pizza for over an year, and one of my favorite toppings that I have always ordered is Cilantro. As usual yesterday we ordered pizza, i went to pick it up, and I see there is no Cilantro on my pizza, so I tell this person working there named Jonie, to put a topping of Cilantro that I ordered. She does not want to. I insist, since I paid for the third topping of cilantro, after telling 3 to 4 times, she gets mad, called me a bitch and made a deeply disturbing racist remark against me. This person tells me, "you know this is how it is over here", "this is how we are, i hope you understand that" - all this for a topping of cilantro for which they charge money from you??? When I told the Manager about it, he said "well, thats the way it is you know.. it depends upon who is making the pizza, they put toppings according to their style".. Wow! Lol! Well, first thing is, we are paying for each topping, so obviously, we want it the way we want it, with the toppings we desire! You cannot charge us money and then say "Well, we charge you but the person who makes it, makes according to their style" - which style says to deduct a topping customer orders for his pizza? This Manager guy was clearly messing around with us! Lol! Regarding the racist remark and swearing words, the person who said these things seems deeply disturbed and needs psychiatric treatment. A normal person would not call another person with swearing words in the first place or make a racist remark. And in the meantime, Steve's should not hire such staff. A hospitality industry needs self-motivated people, and if the staff does name-calling and makes racist remark against customers, then there is no use of being in the business of hospitality or food.

A joke. I get tired of seeing that Sardella guy constantly on TV for the other pizza store. Even though their product is quite good, I thought it was time to try the other guys. I tried Steves and I'll never buy from them again.

All I got was a terribly long wait, an incompetant checker and a totally forgettable pizza.

I'll keep trying other stores till I find one as good or better than from Mr. Sardella.

Steve's is excellent. I have dined in and taken out at many different pizza restaurants in the norther California area and have found Steve's Place Pizza Pasta and Grill to be a leap above the rest. The Product is top quality, the staff is professional and friendly and I always leave looking forward to my next visit.

A Leader of the Bland. After experiencing this pizza, I was was truly amazed at how bland it was. It's not a bad pizza, just not very good. If you take a bland pizza, add poor parking, include an inept manager (she rang up the wrong price on my card) and top it off with a price that made my eyes bug, you get to experience a place called "Steve's". One positive note: It is slightly better than Zelda's.

Made from the best stuff on Earth. My experiences with Steve's Place Pizza on Howe Ave. have been outstanding! The pizzas there are stacked high with toppings and the end results are just magnificent!

Way Over-Rated!!. Way over-rated. Enough to make someone who has had good pizza give pizza up, if this is the only choice.

Scrumptiously satisfying. I have recently visited the new location in the Laguna Gateway complex. The people who work there are very friendly and customer oriented. The pizza is as good as the other location off of Howe Avenue. The sauce is different than most pizza parlors, But that is the reason why we like it so much.The crust is also a little different than other pizza parlors,Not as greasy as most.Last but least the salad bar offers many delightful choices to fulfill that hearty appetite.I would recommend this establishment to anyone who (wants to get there money's worth). Thank YOU
