Great Job. my car started to act really funny out of nowhere, so I HAD to bring my car in at the last minute. They were great about it and were happy to help. The staff was very helpful and gave me a great estimate for how much my repairs would cost. They were done in no time and it even cost less than I thought it would.

quality car repair. My car has had a lot of recent issues, so I've had a few experiences with this shop. The manager who operates the front desk is very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain things in a non-technical way and offer suggestions. He has better customer service skills then a lot of mechanics I've encountered. I have never been pushed into an unnecessary service. They take the time to test and verify before recommending a repair. I had a starter replaced from them a couple months ago, that ended up failing. I took it into the shop today. They replaced it with no charge and even gave me some other car-related suggestions along the way. That and my previous experiences prompted me to write this review.

Restored faith in honest auto repair!. I was so impressed with my experience with Made in Japan-Made in America I felt obligated to tell everyone about this place. Victor and Gary treated my family like we had been taking our Grand Cherokee there for years. They kept me informed throughout the process and there was never any pressure to buy something the car didn't need. In the past we always went to the dealer before they closed. I didn't know what I was missing in customer service untill I met these guys. I have found a new home with Made in America for my Jeep! Keep up the good work MIA!

Disappointed. After reading the other eleven reviews, I thought I brought my car to a reputable place. Upon entering the shop, the only person there at 7:45am was a woman pouring herself a cup of coffee. At first, I thought she was another customer, since she didn't say anything right away. Then she said she would be right with me, (didn't offer me any coffee which I thought was a bit strange since the coffee is right in front on the left side, implying it would be for the customers too!). After explaining my dilemma, she proceeded to find humor in it, often and loudly, blasting out into fits of laughter while taking my information. Good thing she does not work in the medical field. This attempt to 'humor' me or lighten up the situation backfired-I take my vehicle in to be serviced honestly and professionally; I'm not interested in humorous banter while attempting to get my car fixed. I left with the shaky affirmation that it should be done by the end of the day- all that needed done was a diagnostic to determine if the A/C was not blowing air due to a motor problem or an electrical problem? Sounded a little fishy, but I had to trust the previous reviews. I waited for the call and indeed, it was an A/C motor problem, which would cost me $293.37. GM parts MSRP is $224.96 or can be purchased from GM for $133.85. This was the beginning... the "ENHANCED 49 POINT VEHICHLE INSPECTION", which I sure costs them TIME to be so thorough and will be listed as no cost to you, is more than likely the reason the intial, walk through the door to inspect whatever problem you state is $115.89. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was shocked to see this list of necessary and suggested maintenance and repairs, especially since I had scheduled maintenance service done on it six weeks ago! They insisted the transmission fluid, along with a half dozen other things, needed to be done. I did not take their recommendations, took their paperwork back to the place that serviced it six weeks prior, and they showed me the transmission fluid-it wasn't dirty, but since I insisted they change it, they did.

BOTTOM LINE- if you want to use their coupons(don't think you'll save much!), drive away with a gazillion more coupons begging for your friends to come there, business cards stuck in your vents, their personal license plate frames wrapped around your plates (Yes-the really BIG sign states they can do this!), and pay outrageous prices- this is your place! And you can join in with the laughter- or you'll be the only one not laughing!

Thanks.Yes, our mgr has a "happy" personality. It's one of the halmarks MOST people enjoy."Too much" happiness, odd complaint.Parts pricing is relative to cost and overhead of running a shop not a parts store. Our parts have a 2 yr/ 24K mile warr and we use ASE Master techs. The dealer can't offer this.Yes, we do perform detailed inspections on our cars to help keep clients informed. It does take time (an added value and at no chg),we do it because it's the right thing to do.Of course, Sears said the trans fluid was OK, they are the ones who worked on it.When servicing trans fluid, onlyapprox 1/2 of the fluid gets changed during normal servicing. If the fluid was dark prior to the service, then the fluid will still be dark after. The only way to get all of the fluid clean, is to perform a complete flush of the system."Outrages prices". Really?Cheap prices are the result of cheap parts&labor.I would urge anyone reading this to choose value and quality vs cheap prices.-Gary

WOW!. The service performed on my car was excellent. Very professional and respectful staff.

I was really impressed when the technician, Aaron, personally called me a few days later just to say "thank you" and that "he appreciated that I allowed him to service my Honda". Wow, who does that anymore. It was a refreshing part of my day. It's nice to business with someone who appreciates me.

They succeeded where others had failed!. I found this shop on the Internet and liked the reviews. So I brought them my Jeep because it was running rough and the check engine light was on. 2 other shops could not figure it out, but charged me anyway to look at it. The technician at Made In America performed a diagnosis and found the problem with in 1 hour. By the end of the day it was fixed and I was back on the road. I would have saved a lot of money had I just gone there first.

Honesty does still exist!. They came highly recommended by 2 of my co-workers. So I thought that I would give them a try. I had some questionable issues with my last shop. They showed me that I did not need some of the repairs that the other shop said that I needed. The technician also let me see some of the things my car did need that the other shop had missed. I don't know much about what goes on under the hood, so it's hard to know who to trust. I'm so happy that I found someone trustworthy to work on my car. It was money well spent and the great customer service was outstanding!

I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.. I chose this shop because I asked around for recommendations. Made in Japan/America was getting highly recommended. The folks there really cared about my issues. They explained everything clearly and performed the work in a timely manner. I can see why they have been in business for so long. It's too bad more places don't share the same integrity.

Excellent customer service. They are the best. I am a senior citizen and I feel that I was treated with respect. They explained things the way I could understand, they kept me informed on what was wrong with my car and what was needed to fix it( there was no pressure). They also explained what was needed to keep my car in good condition in the future. I highly recommend Made In America and Made in Japan.
