Long Time Patient. I've been a patient for at least 8 years. I have used their emergency number a couple of times never got called back until this last time. The answering service is extremely rude I didn't hear from anyone so I called the answering service back they told me to call back in 20 minutes then 20 minutes turned into every hour. For the first time I got a call back the line went dead, so I called back the line kept disconnecting so I thought I had a bad cell phone connection. When Alvin did call back he told me he was hanging up on me on purpose because he was at a graduation. So How would I know he's at a graduation ?? Why is he stupid enough to carry the emergency phone when he's not going to answer it ?? So basically I got chewed out by my doctor for calling him when he was at a graduation. He has no concern for his patients just the bottom line money. DO Not Use Suckerlov & Suckerlov as your doctors.

Long Time Patient. I have been a long time patient (14 years) of the Sockolov office and have experienced nothing but the best care. Dr. Alvin is a great physician who is attentive and works very hard to stay on schedule throughout his busy days. Between my wife and two young daughters, we see the doctor serveral times a year and have been very happy with quality and service we've receieved.

I wouldn't go anywhere else.

shocked! I'd give no stars if possible. This was about 2 years ago so maybe things have changed.

The front desk people were incredibly unfriendly, barely looked at me, never said hello, threw some papers at me and told me to have a seat in the exteamely packed office.

As I was filling out the paperwork a man came in completley bloody head to toe with road rash. He walked to the counter and asked for help, he'd just been hit by a car while on his bike. The lady at the front desk barely flinched and said...."Do you have an appointment?" OH MY GOSH--yes she did.

The other women behind the counter kinda just looked at him, then a woman in scubs walked in and saw him and imediatly grabbed him and took him to the back.

Luckily I was only there for a flu shot. After seeing this, I won't go back!

Incredibly Bad. My husband and I were patients at this office for several years, and the care we received was completely substandard; I didn't realize how bad it was until I entered the medical field and was working in medical practices that were far more competent, compassionate, and not obsessed with just making a buck by seeing patients on an assembly line. This was the case no matter which provider I saw, including our PCP Dr. Steven Mo. We were not only treated rudely by several of the providers, the care was actually dangerously substandard. My husband's hypertension was uncontrolled by the medication he was prescribed, and the dosages on his thyroid meds were incorrect. Thank goodness we changed PCPs; our new doc immediately set things right. I had no idea how much better things could be until I joined the medical field and worked in a number of truly outstanding care centers. Definitely, find a different office for your own well-being!

Worst Doctor in town, I can't believe he was listed in The Sacramento Magazine as the best doctor... I have seen Dr. Alvin on a few occasions. Each one has been a bad experience. Dr. Alvins is a production line doctor and all he cares about is how many patients he can see in a day. I needed a specialist for a problem that is in my famil history. When I asked Dr. Alvin to refer me he said, "why?" I explained to him again my issues and the family history and he looked at me like I had two heads and sighed and gave me my referral. Low and behold, I was notified by him a short time later that I did have the problem I was concerned about. I have heard numerous complaints about him from friends as well. One friend imparticular was having reoccurring pain, Dr. Alvin basically told her it was in her head. Finally after many months of complaining he finally gave a referral and this friend has a potentially life threatening problem that should have been addressed much earlier.

Wouldn't go to this doctor if I were on my deathbed.. Drs. Alvin Sockolov and Randall Winslow must have a gotten their licenses out of a crackerjack box. Is everything supposed to be "cured" by a prescription? That's what these two idiots think. I have osteoarthritis in my hip joint and Sockolov asked me "what do you want, a hip replacement?" I stated that I don't want one yet because I'm only 34 and he said that he would give me a prescription for Ibuprofen (800 mg) that I was to take four times per day every day. I asked him if that was bad on the liver, which I had heard and he replied back "we'll worry about your liver when it comes to that". Nice huh?
