I had several disasterous encounters with different dentists until one of my co-workers recommended Dr. Mojahedi. She told me that this dentist will explain everything and will devote her attention on me but I have to be part of my treatment plan, otherwise it won't work. On the day of my appointment , set at 9:15, I went a little early to fill out my forms. I was happily surprised when the Dr. came in to the reception room, introduced herself and offered me coffee, tea or water. Her assistant Kathy was equally charming and attentive. Dr. Mojahedi proved to be very thorough, attentive, professional and gave me my best exam and consult in a long time. Her enthusiasm is contagious and i gladly became part of my treatment team. After several months into my treatment I feel grateful and for the first time. I can say I am cavity free and pain free.I have recommended many people to her but if your attitude is anything like the other fellow that wanted a busy clinic, quick work with no compassion and explanation, then this is not the office for you!

Pros: one and one, very knowledgeable, caring and attentive, enthusiastic and affordable

Cons: can't think of any

Don't go here unless you have a lot of time and money. I was not happy with my experience at Dr. Mojahedi's for several reasons. I arrived for my 9:15 appointment at 9:05. I filled out the necessary paperwork (which was actually the best part of the visit) and was waiting until 9:30 to be helped. It is true that you get personal attention because I was the only patient in the office. Even Dr. Mojahedi wasn't there, only Kathy who Dr. Mojahedi continually talked down to throughout the exam. I did not see Dr. Mojahedi until 10:00. She didn't understand or like my health insurance and told me to switch (a little late for that). She told me that basic preventative services like fluoride would not be covered by my insurance as part of the regular exam, Xrays, and cleaning. I was expecting to get a teeth cleaning in about an hour and by 10:30, because they didn't understand my insurance and because she explained the nuances of every tooth in my mouth, I still did not even open my mouth. It was very frustrating. I told her that I had to leave because I had a meeting at 11:30 and she proceded to move slower, telling me I had perfect teeth but I would have to come back to have additional services. What a pain. Then to top it all off, they made me pay some $10 extra OSHA fee that they couldn't explain and said insurance isn't good because they wouldn't cover it. So in the end I still didn't get a teeth cleaning only a "thorough examination." It was a waste of time and money. Avoid if you can.

Pros: paperwork was easy to fill out and clear

Cons: hidden fees, slow, unprofessional, i felt talked down to
