Keep Score Here. Bisla's is the closest bar to Sac State, but also draws an older crowd, so there is something for all ages. Bisla's has many themed nights like Tuesday's "College Night", Wednesday's "Salsa night" Thursday's "Thirsty Thurdays." College Night offers all night happy hour and college drinking games. Wednesday has $1 Tacos, Thursday has Jack and cokes for $3 and beer pong tournaments.

Due to extensive damage from a fire in October 2000, the club has temporarily shut its doors.. Donations to help employees and assist with rebuilding can be made at El Dorado Savings Bank. With its all-ages policy, Bojangle's has earned a reputation as one of Sacramento's hippest teen hangouts, in addition to being a great place to catch a medium-sized club show. Bojangle's has it all: a full-service bar for the over-age crowd; great lights, sound, and stage (save for a structural pole that has annoyed bands for years); an ample dance floor; a back-patio chill zone, complete with a fire pit; and a snack bar/kitchen that serves up all the things suburban youth need to sustain them through a night of dancing (no moshing, please). The showroom's black-painted interior lends a caverous atmosphere, suitable for Thursday's Bio-Mech industrial-dance night, as well as weekend performances by local and national alt-pop, punk, hardcore and metal bands. Bojangle's rounds the week out with '80s-theme dancing on Tuesdays, DJ/house dancing on Wednesdays (men's night) and Sundays, with the last Saturday of the month devoted to fetish night.--Ned Hammad
