The Story – It's not hard to find River City folks waxing nostalgic about the old state fair grounds on Stockton Boulevard. However, you'd be hard-pressed to hear anyone utter such warm words about this facility, which replaced it in the '60s. It's not a bad place, but it lacks the character of the old digs. – – The Attractions – Though this big concrete maze is short on charm, it has plenty of attractions.
