The Setting – With its rugged shoreline and blue-green water, Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe is a mountain gem. Vikingsholm, a replica of a Scandinavian castle sits within the park--as if to underscore the park's wild, alpine setting. Hikers can take in waterfalls and panoramic views from Eagle Falls, or hike to nearby Desolation Wilderness. – – The Facility – Campsites are for a mixture of tents and trailers/RVs.
