Sacramento's bowling epicenter, with 48 lanes, rumbles 24/7. But it's the laser-light ''Glo-Bowling'' that really rocks this joint..
The Scene
This is the biggest bowling arena in town, so happenin' that it never closes. From rookies to high rollers, Country Club draws anything but an exclusive crowd. It's busy-busy and oh-so noisy.
The Lanes
The 48 lanes here come alive during Glo-Bowling, the real highlight here, thanks to the $80,000 laser system and a barrage of black-light effects and disco bulbs. Roll a globe to the beat of the on-site DJ; see your ball glow in the dark on Technicolor lanes.
When to Go
Glo-Bowling is a must, but on Thursday nights, put the Disco Funk theme into your game. And on Sundays, inspire strikes with Beach Party Bowling. Or go for a cheap session with $1-per-game bargain bowling on Sundays, from 6am to noon.
