Best damn bar in the area. Wow, I just spent 2 weeks on business in town, and was told about this place from a bartender at PF Changs. (awesome food) She told me it was a hang out for people in the bar business and neighborhood locals.

I went and had the best time of my whole stay!

Drinks were stiff and cheap, and every one was friendly! The bartender Shawn told me they just don't put up with iddiots. He said if you have fun and respect the other customers and the bar, you will be like family in no time! I did and met several new friends. I can't wait for my next trip out!

FREE Nuts. Had a great time here last night for MNF. Pre-season game but beer was cheap and the people were great. Oh and they giev peanuts that you can throw the shells on the floor. How cool is that!

Shaker's shakes it up!. Very nice little neighborhood Pub. Very few places like it in Sacramento area. Friendly..good service and nice atmosphere.

Shakers Rocks. WOW, This place is awesome. I went here with some friends and found a new watering hole. Nothing Fancy just a laid back neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and so are most people, except for one guy who they kicked out for "not being friendly" as stated by my bartender . He told me its a friendly place and there only real rule is to have a good time, No bad attitudes are allowed. Did I mention free peanuts, and you can throw the shells on the floor!

tbonus's take on the Shake. While I was in Shakers Pub, my experience was second to none! It has an extremely cozy atmosphere with a very positive vibe. I will go there and only there to unwind in the Sacramento area.

Shakers is the Ultimate Bar. Shakers is a great place to go when you want to have a few drinks with your friends and watch the latest sports attraction. It's filled with a great staff, attracts a friendly crowd, and exudes a laid back atmosphere. Shakers is one of those places where the bartenders actually know the majority of their partons by name.
