Excellent for the price. Generous portions on sushi for super low prices (ask for their discount card!). Nice staff and a good place to grab a quick and tasty meal!

Fresh sushi, easy access from highway 50 and there is never a long wait. I love Botan sushi! Try this place and you will be hooked. The prices are fantastic and the fish is always fresh. Great place if you want a quick lunch during your workday or bring your entire family for an evening dinner. You will not be disappointed. Located in shopping center next to Grocery Outlet. Zinfandel near Folsom Blvd.

Best Sushi in Sac. I have frequented almost every sushi shop in the sacramento area, and Botan beats them all hands down on every front:

-Price (Very resonable)

-Portions (Sushi that will actually have you leaving FULL!)

-Freshness: No room temp. fish that has you hunched over a toilet all night.

-Service: They keep your water glass full, and are very friendly

-Quality: The ingredients are the freshest of any sushi joint, and the taste is a reflection of that.

-It is Quiet, they do have a TV to watch the game on, but it's not one of those super-loud party spots that has you screaming across the table.

All in all I'd recommend Botan Sushi to anyone who loves fish, and is tired of paying 13$ for a roll that is the size of your thumb in a loud obnoxious "Party Zone" atmosphere.

Great japanese, just a crummy location. Great food, nice owners, reasonable prices. Too bad it's in a crummy shopping center i.e. many vacancies. The food is great, so don't let the outside appearance turn you off.

Good sushi joint. in town for a week, closest sushi place to hotel. ended up being a great find. surprisingly fresh sushi (i'm from Denver), cuts and rolls were very generous. decor was lacking, service moderate and prices good.

Great Sushi - Low Prices!!. This sushi place is a well kept secret. Always busy and full of people for lunch and dinner! The sushi portions are HUGE compared with the small price tags. And the rolls I have had are really good and fresh. I have read reviews of other sushi places, and this one is better than the others mentioned (some start with Mik and some with Sam ;oP). Wait staff are friendly and helpful in deciding what to order as well. Once you go here you won't want to go anywhere else.
