pretty good, surprisingly. coming from some of the best food places (nyc and sf), I was pleasantly surprised with Spindleshanks. I had some great lemongrass chicken and the hawaiian poki was terrific. My boyfriend didn't really like his brisket, but what was he expecting? good wine list, nice waitress. I'd recommend for after skiing if you want a pretty good dinner - pricey, for tahoe though...chicken was $22, steaks are $25 and up.

Keep coming back. I keep coming back for the freshest oysters, best udon soup and most extrensive wine list in north tahoe. Moderate prices and good portions make it a locals fave and one of mine. I recommend this to anyone tired of the local fare.
