Zama's Hair and Nailes.
I have been follow Rapheal for over 20 years. He is really busy if you are not a regular, so I decided I would try another stylist. Miscommunication ended up with an awful haircut. I went back to the same lady, WRONG, and my hair has been a disaster for a full year. She did state after the cut: "I'm not good with long hair." Mine was barely shoulder length! My mistake for not waiting for Ralph. Live and Learn.
The only hairstylist for me!.
Finally, I have found MY hairstylist: Sarah Gherini!!! She cuts and styles my hair with the most care and attention to detail I have ever experienced -- and I tried all of the Sacramento salons and many out of town ones before finding her. Not only does she give me the cut I describe to her (admittedly with only a few words and many, many hand gestures!), she also tailors the cut to compliment the shape of my face and the chaos of my life. It is clear that Sarah has a genuine interest in both giving me the haircut I want and flattering my features. And I can recreate the style at home, which is a huge plus. Now that I am in-the-know of this hidden gem, I have discovered that she's the stylist for many of my friends ? some of whom travel from out of town to see her. I am recommending her to all of my out-of-the-loop friends...I can't stop spreading the news! Go to Sarah Gherini!
New to the area -- went to Zama's on the recommensdation of a neighbor. Kristin Villacara cut and colored my hair -- she ROCKS! I have really curly, dry, horrible hair and she worked some serious magic. HIGHLY reccommend her -- only bummer is she works only T,W & TH.
