Definitely worth a trip!. I've been several times since the restaraunt changed hands and if you haven't tried it in a while, you owe it to yourself to get down there.

I have a big appetite and I never leave hungry. The food has been excellent each time, whether for breakfast or lunch. The staff makes each visit a pleasure. This place has become a personal favorite and I'll go out of my way to stop in.

If you've had a less than stellar experience here in the past, do yourself a favor, drop by and enjoy your meal!

Great food at a great price!. My wife and I have had the opportunity to eat at the Magnolia Grill in Dowtown Sacramento. During those experiences the food and service have been excellent. I have tried several items on their extensive menu but my favorite is the grilled Reuben with the home made thousand island dressing. Their Salads and sandwiches are always fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean and the location is close to the many downtown attractions. I am definately a fan!

Great Downtown Lunch Spot!. This is one of the best places I have eaten in in downtown Sacramento. The people are very friendly, the service is prompt, the food is delicious and the restaurant is very clean. Wide array of choices!

Great Sandwich and friendly service. We were visiting from out of town and needed a place to eat close to our downtown hotel. Stopping in at the Magnolia Grill, we were happy to find great service, the people were very friendly. The menu has tons of choices from salads and sandwiches to burgers and even veggie burgers. They also serve breakfast! There is a sign that says they are under new management, it looks like they are doing great!

I had the Dorado- a vegetarian sandwich (was fantastic and fully of freshness) and my husband had the club. It was great, a huge, hot sandwich. I would like to go back in a minute (and might actually do that for dinner).

The price is good for downtown, too. $7 for a lunch or dinner is about the same as a subway- and much better!

The smell is like gym or hospital cafeteria. I refused to eat here, because it smelled so nasty! Not to mention disgustingly overpriced! It was one of those things where the girl friend was throwing a fit because she needed to be fed, my boyfriend wanted to shut her up so we went there. They both got sandwiches, a poor boy and a french dip..I tried the poor boy, boyfriend said no bologna in it but i swear there was bologna in it, and it was foul! Especially for being over $7 for a sandwich, give me a break! The French dip, ick, the meat was looking the way the place was smelling and it was all bad, no way I was tasting that....The place smells so bad, locker room, homeless, cafeteria. It looks overrated on the outside, and guess what, it is overrated and stinky on the inside. Go down the block, K has so much more to offer!!!!

Best Cobb Salad this side of the Missippi!!!. I have had Cobb Salads in New York, Arizona, Las Vegas, Oregon, Washington, Montana, various places in California and by far the Cobb Salad is the BEST at Dolce!! Fresh everything! On one occasion, a gentleman was standing behind me last time I ordered and recommended the Cobb Salad and when he saw it he was truly excited. That is a little uncommon coming from the State Capitol area with the men in suits. I order it anytime I can splurge on my self. I hav e taken family and friends to enjoy also!! Just the BEST! Let my words ring in your ears "I told you so" if you have the opporturnity to enjoy one of these Superb Salads!

Great lunch spot. Great convenient location for Capitol staffers, or others who work in the downtown area. I loved their Turkeycado sandwich which consisted of turkey, sprouts, avacado, and cheese on a french roll. I've also heard that their chinese chicken salad is good. My only complaint is that they don't have foccacia bread, but overall, still a good lucnh spot.
