They were a great help with my recent car troubles. The problem I thought was transmission related turned out to be a spark plug. I was very pleased about the quick and reasonable price.

They did great work! I'm so happy I decided to keep the car and get it fixed instead of just selling it. Thanks for everything guys.

I wanted to take a minute and tell everyone at this shop how much I appreciated their hard work and especially Ryan who was great and helped me figure out what was wrong with me car and why the turn signal was not working. When Ryan was done with the car it was better than I remember it brand new.

Great service!. This was a great shop and I would take my car there again. I hope i have no more trouble but my experience here was good and I would use them again. The staff was helpful and friendly.

New owners have GREATLY improved this Aamco. I have had some not-so-good experiences at this Aamco over the years. I had just about given up on it, but decided to give it another chance when I heard they were under new ownership. I have been pleasantly surprised by the new owners. They seem determined to make this a quality shop, and seem genuinely interested in ideas of how to fix past problems. I recommend trying these guys out, even if you have had issues in the past!

Watch Out - Go Somewhere Else. It has been 5 years since we got burnt by this establishment and we're still telling anyone and everyone we know not to go to this terrible business. We had recently had some work done by an AAMCO in Merced, CA and had a wonderful experience. With this as a basis we took another of our vehicles in to this location on Arden Way between Bell and Howe Aves. in Sacramento. They seemed reputable enough on first glance and took our car in for inspection. During the inspection they took the transmission apart and found a problem. They gave us an estimate for repair and we thought that it was high, but they already had our transmission torn apart so what could we do? We mentioned that the Merced AAMCO mentioned that sometimes it's less expensive to buy a rebuilt transmission than to pay for yours to be rebuilt. Their reply was "We guarantee that this will be less expensive than buying a rebuilt transmission for your Toyota 4Runner, because they come from Japan and are very expensive." Well, when it came down to it they charged us more than any other AAMCO in the area would have, and even more than the Dealer would have, so we tried to negotiate with them. No dealing with these low lifes... so I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Bureau of Automobile Repair for California. In the process I found out they they were operating without a license and had received other complaints about this location in the past. It sounded like we had a good case, but the BBB was no help so we followed up with the BAR. Long story short the BAR got little cooperation either and our only option was going to small claims court. At that time I was working 60 hour weeks and had no time for Small Claims Court and finally chalked it up to "experience" and taking at least a $1,000 hit in the process. In the future I will call around first and find out what it might cost to have a transmission replaced at the dealer and other facilities that I can get reliable referrals on. I learned my lesson so I hope you can learn from my mistake. Good Luck!
