The Scene – Brick walls and low-ceilinged metalwork cozy up the urban edge of this bar and restaurant created by Ana Divac, wife of former Sacramento Kings player, Vlade Divac. Plush burgundy cushions warm the minimalist couches, while candlelight and dark wood further the inviting atmosphere. Young professionals come for after-work drinks or stay all night to schmooze and dance. Thursdays are jazz nights; Fridays and Saturdays are open for DJs and dancing. – – The Draw – People show up to see celebrities; whether that actually happens is another story. A full menu of…
One of THE WORST clubs in town
by NorCalRegular
Don't buy all the hype about this being a place for "young professionals" because it's a lie. I've spent many many many late nights in Old Sac and have seen what this club is all about.
I will admit right away that I haven't been INSIDE the club but to be honest, I don't need to. I've talked to friends that have. I see the crowds of people after close being told to leave, then forced to leave...then walked down the boardwalk by groups of security with flashlights and whistles trying to get people to clear the streets.
There are always AT LEAST 2 cop cars assigned JUST TO THIS CLUB AFTER CLOSE because of the BAD ELEMENT it brings. I can't even count the # of times I've seen fights or weapons pulled from people coming out of the club trying to settle some problem they had IN the club.
Ignoring police telling them to move (because it's more important to park your car in the middle of the road while some guy stands at your window trying to get your number) or car accidents from these losers speeding through traffic (which includes the stopped cars mentioned earlier) while not giving a damn about anything or anyone.
Inside the club MAY be ok, but I doubt it. To be honest, it should be shut down, period. I'm shocked that Vlade would want his name tied in ANY WAY to such a waste of space.
There are plus sides to Tunel 21. If you want to fight, good place. If you want a chance to increase your tolerance to pepper spray, good place. If you've ever wondered what it's like to get shot or stabbed, it's prob the place to find out.
NONE OF THE SECURITY LIKE TUNEL 21
NONE OF THE BUSINESSES LIKE TUNEL 21
NONE OF THE POLICE LIKE TUNEL 21 (because they have to spend so much time there)
STAY AWAY from this place and STAY SAFER
SHUT DOWN TUNEL 21.
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything, to be honest
Not there Anymore

I went by here recently only to find a note on the door. THis place has moved to Roseville and I dont know when it will be opening. This was a nice trendy hip place for the younger crowd. A bit crowded the times I have been there before. I you dont mind being in a crowded place just to hear DJ music than by all means look for the opening of the new location. Never been there for dinner so I cant comment on the food.
They treated the regular club'rs better than me - why do they always do that.

Cool place, crowd is for young ppl though. I been there a long time ago when they first opened and I am happy to have returned, the place is just as it was - prices are not so bad, I guess they lowered the prices of drinks but they are not serving full course dinners anymore..... it's 100% club and it gets real crowded till you can't walk, that is when you want to be in VIP room. Nice theme and decor, not the usual hole is the wall kind of place. If you want to have a blast, bring your troop or lots of company and $$.
