You Get What You Pay For. I live in EG and wanted to find a quality salon close to home. I was scared to try someone new but decided to take a chance and for the first time I'm glad I did. Not only was I totally satisfied with the cut and color it was even better than I expected. The price was about the same as you would pay at any quality salon. Remember the saying "You get what you pay for"? It's true here. I got excellent customer service and a great color and cut. I will definitely be coming back!

Great experience!. When I first walked in I was greeted with a smile. Everyone in the salon was very friendly and worked together as a team. My stylist was knowledgable and creative. The assistant who shampooed my hair gave me the best head massage. I loved my weave and hair color. My cut was fantastic! The best I ever had. Overall the salon was upbeat and fun. I will be going back!

Absolutely Amazing!. As soon as you leave this salon you will want to come BACK! It is absolutely phenomenal! The BEST service, EVER! I left the salon transformed! The incredible stylist totally brought out the BEST look for me! I felt like a new WOMAN! Make sure you schedule your next hair appointment at the James Mark Salon!

Over priced and color didn't stay!. I have been to this salon out in Elk Grove a total of three times in a one month time period. I have been looking for a good hair salon and when I found this salon I called and made an appointment. The receptionist that I spoke with asked the hair dresser how much it would for what I wanted... she told me and I went in to have my hair done. The girls there were very fashionable and it is locally owned so I was excited. My hair looked pretty good and was 75% of what I had asked for. When I was getting my hair done I mentioned the price she quoted me and she agreed that was correct. When I went to pay them they over DOUBLE charged me really almost triple the price I was told. I was unhappy but not much I could do. Within three days my hair color was really washing out and I called them and they said they would redo it at no charge... another girl did my hair and she was awesome but again the product washed out within a couple of days... I am not so smart I went back one more time two weeks later because they said they had a different product... paid again, it also washed out right away. I had gone back because the hair dresser was awesome, but until they change color lines and fix my hair I won't go back. It was a loss for me; hopefully you read this in time. Oh- and this was suppose to be permanent hair color, not temporary.

worst customer service. I usually loved this place however this time I went in and asked for partial highlights and ended up paying for full highlights that I didn't even want. The owner told me that if I didn't agree to pay for the full price, he would have the stylist simply remove the foil and let me walk out with bleach in my hair! I had no idea that she was doing a full set when I asked her why she was doing hair on the bottom I was told they were testing strands, then when she started the sides I again asked her what she was doing and she responded by telling me that she was doing a full set of highlights. I told her that's not what I wanted and she said that is what would look best. It was a horrible experience, I'm not even happy with what they did! I will not go back and will continue to post bad reviews. If you have to drive to San Francisco...DO IT! Good luck in your search...

Great Sercive, Great. I love this Salon. I get my hair done there all they time, and they do great manicures, eyebrow waxings, and hair straightening. I love all the stylists there, they are so nice! The receptionists greet you, and they always offer you a drink and remember your name. I love the people there!!!!!!!! I sooooo recommend this place to anybody in the Elk Grove area.
