Tokyo Fros fresh fish, best sushi we think.
My friend bought a Groupon to Tokyo Fros. I had not been there since my single days some 7-8 years ago. I remember it being a cool place to go out and party at.
I usually eat my sushi at my mellow, but consistent good ol standby place Kru down town. I have to say that after eating at Tokyo Fros I was blown away by the flavor of the fish. Really, just the Ahi sashimi was like I was in Hawaii. Where the hell do the get that Tuna? Tokyo Fros was the best dam Ahi I have had in quite some time. So I went back Monday for lunch. I had the $8.00 roll of the day. The Bad Ass roll, so tasty. Flacky shrimp with Ahi and scallions and their sauce combo.Tokyo Frso has the best sushi in sacramento i'm telling ya. I heard them advertise or something like that in the past, about tokyo fros having the best sushi,
I though it was all bull. I was really blown away by the fresh fish Tokyo Fros had. Sunday night they are half off!. Parking is not really good. I drove for a few minutes until I found a spot. they are next to Banderas who looked really busy. Good sushi is expesive and hard to find. I will definetly save my sushi $ for Tokyo Fros
freshest sushi in sacramento.
Just went to Tokyo Fros. The sac bee said Tokyo Fros is the best happy hour and they are right!
Im a sushi fan, and i was told to go Mikuni, who is decent, but Tokyo Fros has the freshest sushi i have tried in sacramento.
The staff there was very personal. I have been back 3 times, each time I have had a different waitress, they really know their fish. I tried the Albacore tempura dish, it comes with a zig zag sauce...so good.
So FRESH it was like Butter.
service over friendly , knowledgeable, and cute
sushi so fresh, wow
Tokyo Fros has the freshes sushi in Sacramento
Uni was incredible
Happy Hour on a Saturday?
Oh danng, I am SO there!!
While looking for lunch options on a Saturday afternoon, two words came to mind: HAPPY HOUR.
Annnd as we all know, it's pretty rare to find a restaurant that provides the essentials on the weekend. Supply, demand, profits... you know the drill ;[
What up, Tokyo Fro's? I always see your workers on Howe on late afternoons, during traffic hours, holding the oddly shaped fish sign, advertising your Happy Hour specials. Unfortunately, I never paid much attention and focused my anger on the horde of cars in front of me.
I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the restaurant. The decor was very trendy and hip. It was a fusion of traditional Japanese cultural icons integrated into modern art. The menu and the signs were full of sass and the posters on the wall celebrated a mix of the anime and game aspect of Japan. [BONUS POINTS for the poster of Hitsugaya from Bleach ;D]
Amazing values on the rolls. They were very generous with the amount of sauce, fish, and ingredients they wrapped in the seaweed and rice. I recommend the oysters. It's $2 for a piece and it's pretty small, but the ponzu sauce complemented the flavors nicely.
Note that one drink purchase is required for happy hour sushi prices. I got the Tokyo Tea, their strongest drink, and it made me really, realllyy happy during my lunch
Tokyo Fros is the best Sushi in Sacramento for price.
I have been to them all.
Tokyo Fros is not regarded as having the best service, and i agre, but,.
The sushi at Tokyo Fros is the best in town, it is always fresh.
Sit at the sushi bar and have the chefs take care of you.
Tokyo fros happy hour is the best happy hour in sacramento.

TOKYO FROS IS FRESH FRESH EXCITING.
BEEN THERE SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS. WE JUST WENT BACK FOR FIRST TIME IN 2 YEARS
hands down tokyo fros is the best sushi in sacramento,
from the staff, to the food, to the price, just can't beat this place
happy hour sounds intriguing, i love half price of anything
keep up the good work tokyo fros, your definetly our favorite sushi in sacramento
was'nt feelin it. okay, took the day off so i could take my fiance out for dinner and dancing. never been to tokyo fro's, so trying sushi at another resteraunt seemed like a good idea. really, i cant complain about the food, our waitress was great, it was after when we entered the patio area to watch mother mayham, we were told only v.i.p's could sit outside, apparently if you e-mailed you were on the "list " . so we found nowhere to sit , besides a concrete planter for close to an hour, meanwhile... people walking in from the street were being directed to chairs, when we needed to use the restroom, we were also directed around the side of the building back up to the entrance, apparently, the vip's dont wanna mingle with the actual paying customers. needless to say, we did'nt stay , as far as making us feel welcomed, they sure disapointed us. wont return there again, theres plenty of resteraunts who treat us like vip's no matter what door we walk in, like at wasabi on greenback in orangevale
Best happy hour in sacramento.
We started going to Tokyo Fros for Thurs night trivia.
I have now been for Karaoke on Tuesdays which was a blast.
The hostess for the music was so outgoing and made sure everyone was having a good time.
I have not been there for Happy Hour, but i am told that tokyo fros is the best happy hour in sacramento.
My sis in law and i definetly agree that tokyo fros is the freshest sushi in town. I have been to other sushi bars that have sushi that feels just wrong in my mouth. Mikuni downtown and Sushi hook both had us spitting food into napkins, really!
there is a killer place in Sunnyvale. Fros is on the same page with them
Tokyo Fros has always pleased my palate. i love the PASSION roll and the Miracle on rice
try their Rice krispy dessert, we always get one to go! now the manager recognizes us and bought us dessert! no one does that!
Student Love Affair.
Tokyo Fros Happy Hour is the best deal I have found other than Subway sandwhiches foot long sandwich for $5.00.
I can't afford to go there during normal hours unless I have their $8.00 roll of the day special. Monday is the Bad Ass Roll and Tuesday I forgot but it is very good. Wed is their Coach T Roll which the manager had me try and made me go back every almost every Wednsday after class since.
They also have soy wrap for a buck extra per roll. Not many places have soy wrap.
The first time I went there the waitress dropped a tray of drinks. It was impressive how fast the managers and all the other waitress jumped in to clean it . That says something abnout how well they are trained. I think the service here is quite good.
all around good.
BBQ Albacore, go there, it eat, you will go back-again and again
Now just go there. Tokyo Fros is the best sushi in sacramento because they have a happy Hour that just can't be beat. $2.00 drafts and half price sushi...
they have some really good parties on their patio during thursdays
