What People Are Saying About In & Out Burger

In Short – Founded in 1948, In-N-Out locations are known for their eye-catching yellow-arrow logo and spic-and-span red and white interiors. The streamlined menu includes fries, beverages and three types of hamburgers. These all-beef burgers are topped with fresh vegetables and Thousand Island-like dressing on griddled buns with optional American cheese; fries--oversized potatoes with the skins still on--are dunked in cholesterol-free cottonseed oil until just the outsides are done.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Secret menu items include burgers protein style (wrapped in lettuce with no bun) and animal style (a patty cooked in mustard and topped with sauteed onions, extra sauce and pickles). Fries can be ordered well-done or animal style.
- What to Drink:
- If you can't decide between a chocolate, strawberry or vanilla shake, ask for a Neapolitan and they'll mix all three together.
good, but super busy

My family always loves in and out. My kids would go every day if they could. The food is always consistent and for the most part is very good. I've personally never loved the fries, but they're alright. The burgers can't be beat anywhere in town, but wish it wasn't so busy. I guess that's what you get when the place is so popular. We'll always come back for more! Thanks in and out.
We had a first timer with us!

My uncle who lives out of state has never heard of this place so when he came to visit I just had to take him to this place! He was truly amazed at the place as he had heard quite a bit from my kids and family about it so he was finally able to see what we were talking about! Yes, it’s always crowded no matter what time you happen to pop in but that’s part of the experience! The food although not something I would eat every day is very good and the prices are ok.

I don't always eat burgers but I still greatly enjoy In-and-Out and never object to stopping by for lunch with my burger-loving friends!
I love the grilled cheese (secret menu- basically a burger without the patty), shakes (Neapolitan with all 3 flavors is really yummy, so creamy!), french fries, and fries animal style (only if super hungry, grilled onions and special sauce all over the fries!).
Almost all the In-and-Out's I've been in have seemed super clean too which always scores points with me. I like their t-shirts too and loved to wear them to sport some California pride!
The prices are reasonable and the food is so good and a bit healthier than other fast food though not healthy-per-say.... if you have not yet discovered In-and-Out, please make sure you do!
