Reasonable pricing and accommodating service. I had a limited budget for a very special occasion dress (not a wedding). I just saw the 'Sale' sign and decided to walk in. There were several dresses I liked but they were either not my size or outside my budget.

The owner took heed of my dilemma and she was able to fit a reasonably priced formal dress from the ones I really liked. The price, including the alteration was well within my budget.

If that is not true customer service, what is?

New Owners and very kind...Killer discounts. Mellie's Bridal Etc. before it was bought in 2008 the name was BRIDAL ETC. and was in operation for 7 years before 2008. Mellie bought the shop thinking the economy would turn. Mellie advertised in the Sacramento Bride and Groom magazine since 2008. Mellie was always selling and alteration with always Quality Customer care in mind. I believe Mellie caters and advise the customer of what they best needs to have a near perfect wedding. When she advises on alteration it is always completed with quality and what the customer wishes. One time I tried on a wedding gown and everything was perfect, however I wanted it with sleeves and Mellie was able to manufacture sleeves for the gown and designed some beads on the gown to my liking. I am always praising Mellie's Bridal for the job she accomplished for me.

BEWARE!!!. BEWARE!!!!!! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BRIDES!!!!!!!!!!!! my sister in law ordered a dress from these people, 2 months away from her wedding date. She was already screwed by another Bridal co that went out of business and she needed a dress and they knew it! They told us all what we wanted to hear and shoved a Divenci generic down her throat telling her and all of us (her bridal party) that it was exactly the same as a Maggie Sotero. What a crock!!!! She got the dress 1 month from her wedding date and it is SOOOOOOO screwed up! the pocket pleats are inside out not to mention things we didn't even notice right away. She took it to her seamstress and she looked over pointing out all these things that were wrong. She gave her an invoice for $450.00! The dress was bought for $500.00. She called the owner and told her what was wrong and she flat out refused to help her. All she said was "I cannot help, I am sorry" She would not even give her store credit. Don't trust this woman or any of her associates with your wedding!
