Don't call Yellow Cab if you need to go somewhere. Made the mistake of calling Yellow Cab because the company I usually use for wheelchair transport only has 1 van and it was in the shop. Yellow Cab left me stranded, unable to get my mother to her doctor's appointment. When the van didn't arrive at the requested time, I called and was told "nobody picked up your call" or something like that. The dispatcher did try to resolve the situation, but it was too late. Their system doesn't work and/or they don't realize that people call a taxi because they need to go somewhere. This was not the first time they have failed to get me where I needed to go. Fortunately, there are other cab companies in Sacramento.
Waited over an hour.
The cab took over an hour to get to me and as a result I was late for work. The operator continually lied to me about how long it would take for the cab to arrive and at one point actually cancalled my cab! (I learned from a cabbie) I did however flag down one of their cabs and the driver was nice and interesting to talk to.
Customer Service. I have been using yellow cab service for the past 3 years on weekends only and their lack of customer service and impunctual timing made me change to other taxi service. I always had to wait between 45 mins to an hour even though I had reservation with them. I was always late for dinner with friends. Please improve on this service.
Customer Service. The customer service over the phone is rude. My experience making a reservation should not have been difficult but, the representative gave attitude, was not patient taking the reservation, and persisted to talk down to me.
