Tacos and burritos are custom-made with fresh ingredients at this industrial-chic Mexican chain..
In Short
Boasting a sleek decor of blond wood, raw steel and exposed pipes, this taqueria hums with conversation and an eclectic mix of piped-in salsa, rock and reggae. Patrons--mostly on-the-go professionals and parents with kids in tow--line up at an assembly-line style counter for hard and soft tacos or burritos (regular, fajita-style or without the tortilla) made with fillings like grilled chicken or steak, free-range pork or shredded beef.
awesome employee company.
I drive 35 minutes once or twice a week to eat at Chipotle's. Honestly, I wish they would open one up in Wilmington North Carolina-my retirement dream town. Go swim, go pick up a bag meal from their quick, reasonable priced menu. Simple food cooked right, and I would love to work for Steve. Gold mine business.
In Canton Ohio always a line.............
Good burritos. They have quick service, kind of rushing you through due to all the customers. Typical order for me is the Barbaboa Fajita Burito. Rice. Pinto Beans. Cilantro-Lime Rice. Bell Peppers/Onions grilled. Barbocoa (braised shredded pork). SOur Cream. Cheese. Lettuce. Salsa. MMM....I swear to you its about a good 1+ lbs. of food. Plus, with your student ID you can get a free soda!
Good food horrible wait during lunch hour. You can't really go wrong here. You get to pick what is in your food as you watch them make whatever it is that you had ordered. Once you are able to place your order, it goes really fast. The problem here, is if you get here around noon, GOOD LUCK! Everyone else will be in line that same time that you are. If you are stifled for time, then arrive earlier closer to the 11 o'clock hour. During this time, you will get in and out super fast.
a no care attitude. I have enjoyed chipole many times for the fresh food and good selection, however the staff at the howe ave restaurant leave so much room for improvement. More than once [the latest being 09-01-06] the servers attitude was totally without care or attention to detail. Upon opening at 11 on Friday, Sept 1, the selection was not complete, they said they do not serve fajitas before noon and that the grilled onions and peppers [come-on now this is a mexican restaurant isn't it] were not started or prepared when they opened ,,,,, ever !!! I am not sure what part of the menu they think is appropriate at what time of day, but to me if they have it on the menu ... then it should be available when ever they are opened, they told me I would have to wait at least 15 minutes as the onions and pepers were not even started and that the servers were still sitting down at a table eating their food ... so what's up with that??? The doors were open and no one was available to serve the food .... very much dissapointing to say the least, Chipole does not allow francises .... but really they should as I am sure the service would be a whole lot better if someone running the place took a personal interest in both the quality of the food and the service.
Pretty good. If you want a burrito, this is the place to go. They only serve burritos and tacos though. The burritos are huge too, I can never eat the whole thing. I've been here quite a few times, the only bad thing is, is that twice the pinto beans were hard. Also, Guacamole is $1.70 extra and they only put a tiny scoop on a huge burrito, not worth it (it comes free on the vegetarian burrito though)
