Grocery Store with Business Ethics. I Visited this store based on a Friends recommendation. Store is Clean, products well Organized and I was planning to make Chicken Vindaloo that day and I asked the Staff to help me select the right brand etc., She was very helpful, asked me what I really want before just throwing some high priced Item at me. Then, she took the time and explained me about the different brands and the Ingredients and Taste etc., They not only gave what you want but also educated me about the different products I got. Pretty good experience. Cons: Since I moved from the Bay Area, I am used to seeing tons of stuff in the Indian Stores there, AT Kaveri they may not have all the Brands for each Product, but maintain the Standard & Quality brands. but I have also Visited several stores in and around Sacramento and I can tell Kaveri Indian grocery definitely trumps all others.

My Chicken Vindaloo, turned out to be really Good, thanks to the staff at Kaveri for those cooking tips and My Girl Friend really Loved it :)

Great Grocery store in the heart of sacramento. Kaveri indian grocery store has great varieties of frozen food,great varieties of sweets for diwali,good selection of rice and aatta,i'm a regular there been goin there since 5 yrs have recommended to all my friends ,great location have always enjoyed shopping there

High price. Kaveri charges high prices in most of food items especially grains and vegetables fresh or frozen. Also, prices of snaks are more as compare to other stores. Not only this but also, products are not as per prices charged. Manytimes the quality of snacks are poor. Also, not good in taste. Mostly, snacks are not crispy or not good in taste also and prices are enough high as per quantity and quality. I can't rate it more than this...................

Very bad quality product. How can i recommend the grocery store like kaveri whose food products are always outdated and worst in quality. I found many food items especially grains and flours bad, also found weevils in 20lb bag of wheat flour on 3rd day of my purchase. I just thrown it in trash. Kaveri is worst grocery store in sacramento.

Bad refund policy. The kaveri indian grocery store has very bad refund policy, infacts no refunds at all, eventhough products are not good in quality. I would suggest that if product is not of good quality than their should be full refund if it is return in week. Atleast, their are some snaks which should be crispy but if it is not or less crispy than they should give us refund. This store is loosing their regular customers.
