Good Hong Kong Style Chinese Food.
This restaurant caters to both Chinese-American and the authentic Chinese palate, and for the most part, they do a good job. My only complaint is the inconsistency of the quality. On one night the food could be a 5 star, on another night, it might be a 2 star.
The 'family style' dinners are the best deal for your money, if you come after 830pm, there is a 20% discount.
For 2-3 people, the best deal is the a Chinese family style dinner that consists of
1. Soup (changes daily)
2. beef and Chinese greens
3. deep fried grey sole,( ask waiter to help you serve it)
4. peking pork
5. chinese fried chicken
Price is 25.00, but with 20% off after 8:30, the grand total is $20.00
You can substitute different item, but there will be a slight surcharge.
There are larger family style dinners - my suggestion is to try the first family dinner firs
If you want to eat what the Chinese people eat this would be a good starter.
There are lots of different items:
The iron plate are good and it 's a nice show, walnut shrimp is very tasty ( on the sweet side).
I don't know about the Chinese-American menu, try at your own risk. We've not ordered from that side of the menu.

Great Authentic Chinese Food.
Definitely one of the better chinese restaurants in the Sacramento area. I live on the east coast now, but anytime I visit home, I make sure I eat here as many times as I can. Echoing another reviewer, don't go here if you want Americanized Chinese food. But if you want something more authentic and different from all the usual Americanized Chinese you find all over Sacramento, this place is a must.
Some of my favorites: Walnut-shrimp, Deep-fried grey sole, Salt and pepper spare ribs, Cod fish hotpot, seasonal vegetables stir fried with garlic.

Very good, but a warning....
this is authentic Hong Kong style Chinese food.
if you are accustomed to the 'average' Chinese food restaurant that never has an asian face among the customers, you will not like this place. Every person from HK that I've recommended this place to loves it.
For those who like to eat late, they stay open until 11PM, and those dinign after 8:30 get a 15% discount on items.

average food.
The food is very average and for the portions you get, it is highly overpriced.
The egg rolls were good, won ton soup was ok and my main course of mongolian beef was mainly onions. I asked for the mongolian beef to be prepared extra spicy, it appeared to have a few pickled jalapenos (chinese?) rings added, but wasn't spicy at all
