poor hygiene.
My friend and I sat by the window, drinking the last of chais after brunch. We watched one of the waitresses stop and talk to some people outside with a little dog. She put the plates down that she had been clearing and PET THE DOG for several minutes. She then picked up the dishes brought them to the kitchen and DID NOT WASH HER HANDS! She then picked up some plates to serve and walked around looking for the table to serve (poor people that she served). I mentioned this to one of her co-workers who seem AMUSED. He told me that they wash their hands a lot. I told him that I watched her and she did not! I CAN'T STOMACH THE THOUGHT OF EATING THERE AGAIN!! UGH!!

Poor Management.
Apparently the owner has somewhat limited skills in selction of manager for their store in Davis as a recent hire for a manager has turned out to be a real turn off for this once great establishment. Both from the inside, and to customers this new manager apparently doesn't get either the fact that customers are key or employees are important. After hiring her at least a half dozen employees have quit, and recently a relative of mine was kicked out after eating a meal there for spending too much time at the table.
How short sited can the owner be not to see what is happening in his or her own store. This new manager is apparently bent on destroying the buisiness from both sides. I'll make sure I make a point of not stopping in any time soon, while my relative is sure to find another place to eat as well.

Excellent for a casual lunch.
Crepeville is a great little place to hang with a friend or two for a quick, casual lunch or late breakfast. Service is prompt enough that if you're a student or professor, you can grab a bite to eat between classes. Lots of different crepes abound; there's sure to be one to suit your mood and tastebuds.

French pancakes stuffed with mouthwatering goodies make this artsy downtown eatery perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner..
In Short
Chalkboard menus, colorful paintings by local artists and outdoor seating create the ambiance of a relaxed French bistro. Design your own crepe or choose a house specialty, like the Hawaiian, with ham and pineapple; the Greek, with feta and black olives; or the chicken curry. Dessert crepes include such sinful concoctions as chocolate and banana, peanut butter and Nutella, and brown sugar and cinnamon. Traditional egg-and-toast breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and pastas are also served.
