BEST PIZZA IN TOWN!. This is the best pizza in town - great place! I have tried tons of so called pizza places in Sacramento and none of them compare to Giovannis. Finally there is REAL NEW YORK PIZZA around! I know, as I am from Boston. The crust is unbeatable - incredible sauce and cheese. GREAT BEER TOO! As far as pizza and a beer goes, it doesn't get much better than Giovannis...

greasy pizza but affordable. This place reminds me of a run down Chuck E Cheese. It has a weird smell when you walk in. The pizza was greasy and nothing special. They did, however, have a great Italian dressing for the salad. Cheap if you need to fill your stomach but not a place that I would return to.

FASTER & CHEAPER THAN GOING TO NEW YORK CITY!. Now u don't have to fly all the way to NYC to experience authentic italian style pizza! For Sac residents, just jump into your car and zip over to one of Giovanni's pizza spots.

What makes the pizza so scrumptious? For starters, the home-made dough is light and airy which translates into a crust that is both soft, chewy and has that slight resistance. The cheese is simple mozzerella, and not the cheap kind that can leave your pizza "wet and soggy". It melts beautifully and is a terrrific complement to the zesty tomatoe sauce. Flavored with fresh garlic, olive oil and spices, it's enough to bring anyone to their knees!

Whichever pizza YOU choose, your tummy and your family/friends will thank you! For those over 21, round outyour meal with a glass of Giovanni's own premium beers. It's a winning combo!

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. New York style pizza is served at the restaurant that offers affordable prices, ample toppings and homemade sauces.

IKNOWPIZZA Probably is Anthony Andrews. IKNOWPIZZA is probably the owner of Anthony Andrews. When he wrote his reviews I believe he was actually critiquing his own pizza joint when he said...

"Sorry but I use to own a Pizzeria in town (Bad Location) and "litterally" every customer who said they tried it about 8 people I personally knew; said it isn't worth the cracker crust it's made on."

Sounds more like Anthony Andrews pizza then Giovanni's. Changing your name from First Class Pizza to Anthony Andrews doesn't change the crappy pizza that you used to serve.

Don't hate because there's someone who really knows how to make a genuine pizza. I've taken my family to Giovanni's in Natomas serveral times and loved it!

Oh yeah... the comment about the fish bowl... everything looks like a fish bowl when you wear "coke bottle" glasses. It's also why you probably couldn't see the toppings on the pizza.

IKNOWPIZZA DON'T KNOW PIZZA!!!. Giovanni's Pizzeria is the best pizza that Sac.town has. They are a real traditional family style pizza place. I think that I KNOW PIZZA is really Anthony Andrews and that they couldnt take being replaced with a real pizza place! I have been to all of their locations except the Natomas one, they do an amazing job at all. Natomas, I will see you for a great pizza the next time that I go to Arco. Mr. Giovanni, don't let these untrue statements get you down, you will always be the king of pizza, because I really do know about pizza. I spent time in Italy, New York, Boston and Chicago, pizza was all that I could afford.

WOW! Simply....WOW!. I didn't grow up on the East Coast-so I can't comment on authenticity. But I can tell you that all of the elements come together here to create a perfect pie. Crispy yet tender crust with amazing flavor, a solid sauce, good toppings. all baked to bubbly golden brown perfection. This Chicago girl actually finds herself respecting NYC pie!

East Coast Pizza at its best. While the ambience could have been better, a little dark and could have been vacuumed better, my first pie was like being back in the NY/NJ/PA metropolotan area where I grew up. Hot, thin crust pizza that dripped with just the right amount of delicious olive oil, sauce and cheese that had my eyes closing dreaming of my youth. Each bite got better and better as the crust softened as it cooled. It was hard not to stuff it all in to get to the perfectly bubbled rim crust.

John knows his stuff and his staff and the manager of this location knew how to treat a back east boy and his family. My 2 year old had 2 slices himself! Even at this age he knows a great pie. I have to limit myself to once a month but this pie could be eaten every day.

THEY DON'T CALL ME PIE FACE FOR NOTHING. TAKE IT FROM ME, PIE FACE. GIOVANNI'S PIZZERIA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! JOHN AND I ARGUED OVER WHO ATE THE MOST PIZZA, SO I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! JOHN IS A PIZZA GOD, HIS PIZZA CAN BE EATEN TWICE A DAY BECAUSE IT'S SO GOOD. I LIKE THE PIZZA PIE, FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE, GIOVANNI'S HAS IT ALL. IF YOU TAKE MY ADVICE AND GO TO GIOVANNI'S, TELL JOHN THAT PIE FACE SAID HELLO.
