Rude service (this store only).
I have been to several Chipotles and have always had good service and food... except here. The food here is just as good as all the others, but I find the evening crew to be unhelpful at best, and rude at worst. Twice before, they have refused to make a quessarito style burrito (double-wrap with the cheese melted between the tortillas). I chalked it up to ignorance, though the evening manager once told me they should know how to make them.
Last night I went in with a friend. They took my friend's order, then proceeded to make 15-20 tacos (I think for the person behind me in line). Nobody explained why I had to wait. Nobody ever apologized nor thanked me for my patience. When they finally asked me for my order, I asked for a quessarito burrito. The server told me in a huffy voice that she would do it for me "this time", but pointed to the long line behind me (like it was MY fault) and said they wouldn't do it again in the future. I left and got better Mexican food elsewhere for less $$$.
To their credit, I called the daytime manager and he agreed the server was extremely rude and offered to make it up to me. I told him I don't plan on ever going back to this Chipotle. If you go, I hope you get treated better.
Tacos and burritos are custom-made with fresh ingredients at this industrial-chic Mexican chain..
In Short
Boasting a sleek decor of blond wood, raw steel and exposed pipes, this taqueria hums with conversation and an eclectic mix of piped-in salsa, rock and reggae. Patrons--mostly on-the-go professionals and parents with kids in tow--line up at an assembly-line style counter for hard and soft tacos or burritos (regular, fajita-style or without the tortilla) made with fillings like grilled chicken or steak, free-range pork or shredded beef.
McRito. Bringing the same assembly line process to Mexican food that they do to hamburgers, McDonalds' Chipotle provides a consistent but uninspiring take on classic taqueria fare. Starting with the unique but flavorless white rice, a Chipotle burrito is in desperate need of doctoring from the salsa bar. There's nothing bad about it-it's just dull. Support your local taco shop and your taste buds and stay away from the McRito
Great Food at a GREAT Price!. I LOVE Chipotle! It is a great place to get a great meal for less than $7 (including the drink). I make sure that I have it AT LEAST twice a week for lunch. It is delicious! If you haven't tried it, I would definitely recommend it!
