Great Service & Good Food.
My experience at the Cobbler Restaurant was a wonderful and amazing one. I am not one for restaurants, because of the hurry up and leave feeling that you receive from the staff. They just don?t have time anymore to allow you to enjoy your meal, your family, and friends, but not so at the Cobbler Restaurant.
My son took the family there for my birthday, the staffs really made me feel special, and the atmostphere was very family orient. The food was great, and our whole family enjoyed themselves.
Best Southern Cuisine in Sacramento. Most people just don't understand southern cuisine. They have only experienced Soul Food, which is closed, but close is just not good enough. Soul food is just a fancy name for home cook food, and we all know that it is just a matter of taste. Southern Cuisine on the other hand can not be duplicated, each meal is personal
AVOID PERIOD......
I visited this place of business on 10/7/2006, around 7:00 pm, dinner time. My uncle
girlfriend and family would be visiting and my uncle wanted a nice place to take them.
I noticed a couple of workers with smocks on, that were very dirty, entering and leaving
the kitchen area. I could only imagine what the kitchen look like. But still willing to give
the business a try.
I order Catfish nuggets, with fries and potatoe salad, (AT A Resturant) you expect
homemade food, this is a service that you are paying for. If I wanted to have Smart and
final potatoe salad, I would have stop and pick me up some, get the picture.
The menu reads as follow Lousianna fry fish, I was very disappointed. The taste of the
fish and overall tatse of their food, was not of Lousianna. (THE FOOD HAD NO TASTE).
My uncle order Red Snapper, 20 minutes later the cook realized he was out of Red
snapper, and tried to cut the one fish into small fours to make a meal, the waitess, who at this time
was very upset, said my uncle could order something else. He did, HE order smother pork chops that couldn't be cut with a butter knife.......go figure.
Also remember the staff you hire will either make you or break you, friendly greeters make customers feel welcome, and at ease. You have your waistess saying she putting in her two
weeks notice, and on the phone, and whether you have one or two customers, make them feel welcome. This is what wrong with our people.
Take a class on how to treat your customers, let them know up front, if the resturant is out of food. I was also upset at the peach cobbler, considering the business is name Cobbler. My 14 year old daughter makes better cobbler than the one I tasted on night in question.
NOW IF YOU GOIN TO AVERTISED ON 1240 TALK, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE
THE DELIVERY TRUCK DELIVER PRIOR TO CUSTOMER'S ARRIVING AT YOUR
PLACED OF BUSINESS. Just remember, your staff will make you, or break you......
