Attorney commits fraud and theft
by cecejones
I asked Paul P. Terry of Angius and Terry to help me with the legal wording of a letter to change my vacation home from a corporation to another vesting so that my heirs would inherit. I wanted to give my partner one half of the ocean front land as we were still best friends after a break-up. Paul P. Terry helped me with the legal part of the letter, told me to get it notorized and I also drew up a map to divide the property in half on the island of Roatan. Those three letters were to be given to my Honduran attorney to put in my file. We expected the process to take about a year. This was March of 2007. These three letters were never givin to my attorney. Instead, within two months, attorney Paul P. Terry went to my Honduran attorney and told him to draw up a 'resignation letter' from me. Thus he started a long process of forgery and fraud and theft to steal my property. I was kept in the dark for a year as I had several heart operations during that time while being assured by my partner/best friend that he was taking care of my house with repairs on twice a year visits. I told him it was o.k. for him to have 'brother's' vacations at my house. I have every piece of evidence to prove this unethical attorney pulled this off behind my back. My attorney in Honduras wrote the letter but refused to carry this thru since I was not right in front of him so Paul P. Terry paid off another attorney to get this done. I have filed a complaint with the Ca. Bar assoc. I am in touch with Paul P. Terry's Honduran attorney and my attorney in the Honduras. Once I found out about these procedings, Paul P. Terry changed the name of my corporation to make it harder for me. I was shocked by an e-mail on Sept 4, 2008 informing me that I was no longer the owner and police would be called if I showed up at my own home!!! Cece Jones
