Screwed on Alleged Damage...Watch Out for Tahoe North Rentals..
Loved the small, quaint cabin that Tahoe North Rentals helped set me up with. It was clean and cute, although the refrigerator seemed to be on its last legs...it barely kept our food cold, and by Day Three of our visit, I was worried about the state of our groceries. But the reason for the bad rating is that a FULL MONTH after our stay, I received an email from Tahoe North informing me that they had charged my credit card $120 for damage to the stove. They supplied photos, of damage that I know we didn't cause (I don't even remember it being there, but I'd remember those gouges if I'd made them. Still waiting to hear back from them on my outraged email. But really, a full month after our visit? During ski season? How can you have any confidence in a company that waits one month to accuse you of damage you know you didn't do?
