No matter the season skip this restaurant and pick one of Da. What a disappointment. My wife and I were looking forward to a wonderful Sunday Brunch, it had been advertised with a Special Easter Menu. We arrived on time for our 1:30 reservation. I was surprised that on such a busy day we had our choice of tables. We decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and dine on the patio. It was a down hill disappointment from that point forward.

My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict asking if she could make a substitution of either vegetables or fruit for the potatoes. She was told that she could substitute fruit. I ordered the traditional ham dinner. And we split a Caesar salad.

Service was slow even though more than half the tables were empty. The salad was over dressed with a slightly fishy Caesar dressing. When the entrée arrived, we were both under whelmed. The presentation was plain. The ham was rubbery with the texture of a cheap canned ham and with excessive proportions of fat. I called the fatty ham to the waiter’s attention.

We passed on dessert and asked for our bill. That’s when the real surprise began. We found an unannounced split charge for sharing the salad, and that fruit that was “OK” to substitute was an extra $4.00 charge. I pointed out to the waiter that neither charge was mentioned in advance. He grabbed our credit card without offering any accommodation. On the way out I decided to speak with the manager. You can’t expect a waiter to speak for the owners or managers. The Manager only response was that the problem was “obviously the fault of the waiter.” No – it is obvious to me that the problems at Seasons are much bigger than a single bad waiter.

Love Seasons for Outdoor Dining. We love going to Seasons in Davis when the weather is nice. You can dine in the outdoor patio - it's covered and the lighting and water feature add a nice touch. The tables are a nice size too. We really enjoy Thursdays, when they have wine specials. All bottles are half off. The menu changes with the seasons and the food is good overall. The house made breadsticks are the best! Great staff too.

Serving up some Excuses!. This restaurant is all looks, no service. I was really impressed with the atmosphere when entering the restaurant, modern and elegant. The wine list was "meh" and my starter course (squash soup) was fair -- I've definitely had better. The service was prompt in the beginning and then rapidly dropped off after ordering entrees. First, I did not receive the correct meal and the rest of my party quickly realized that their side dishes were all ice cold and should have never been served. Without any apology, the server whisked away my meal and made some excuses for the cold side dishes. I sat there wondering if I'd EVER get my entree, as the rest of my party had finished their meals. I eventually had to cancel my meal, which was a very simple order. The rest of my party received their side dishes after finishing their entrees. The manager wasted more time making excuses than fixing the problem. He never even apologized. This restaurant appears to strive towards the "fine dining" label, but is far from providing that degree of quality. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

YUMMY. We dined there about 2 weeks ago, it was awesome. The service excellent, the place was pretty much at capacity, but they squeezed us in, the staff was excellent when they brought over some appetizers which were not on the menu, absolutely wonderful.

Very relax and hearty food, the chef Jonthan Nieto came over and chatted with us and so did the owner Tomas. What a wonderful place to go to, to have a good meal, we stopped off over there and had a bite to eat on the way to Tahoe.
