Give me a BREAK!! Seriously!!. I love to ski Alpine but what is with all the signs in cafeteria saying No Sack Lunches. This is BS. Isn't this a family spot. In this economy the lift tickets are expensive enough to pay 12.50 for a crappy burger and fries. No Sack Lunches! I always bring a lunch. I have never seen this at a ski resort. I guess they expect me to spend $65 dollars on a lift ticket then eat in my car. Management needs to really take a hard look on them selves. On a scale from 1 to 5 I will rate the slopes a 4 and the hospitality a 1.…
Feels Small - Big Terrain.
Alpine Meadow is a resort you can get your hands around in one day. It's a favorite with the locals so it has a very laid back feel. It has a family friendly type atmosphere yet offers a wide variety
of terrain. This is one of the best value resorts in the west.
Hint - Take Summit Six and hike to the right to the wolverine bowl on a good powder day.…
