I don't understand the negative reviews of this place. Maybe it's because we come here frequently (we live within walking distance) but the service for us has always been prompt and friendly. The Chicken Vindaloo is excellent and as spicey-hot (or not ) as you want. Tandoori chicken recommended, too. Order the complete meal with all the sample dishes, some of which may be spicier than one is used to, but c'mon (easy for me to say: the hotter the better!) The garlic naan is great, too.

I stopped in for lunch to go, and there were only two people in the restaurant. The woman behind the counter was very nice, and recommended Chicken Tikki Masala, so I ordered it. She charged $13.95. When it was ready, all that was inside was a small styrofoam container of rice, and a pint container of chicken masala. I was a bit surprised so I asked, this is all? And she said yes. I just looked at the menu on-line, and the prices listed were $10.95 ala carte, and $12.95 is supposed to include rice, dal, nan chutney, and the vegetable curry of the day. It was OK, kind of heavy, and not any better than the masala I buy in a jar for $2.99 from Trader Joe's, and the chicken was dry, obviously not cooked in the sauce but added to it. It had skewer holes in it, I guess they grill it as kabobs. I will not be going back.

Very impressed. The taste of each dish was superb. The presentation and service excellent. We will be visiting again soon and trying different dishes with confidence.
