In Short
Chalkboard menus, colorful paintings by local artists and outdoor seating create the ambiance of a relaxed French bistro. Design your own crepe or choose a house specialty, like the Hawaiian, with ham and pineapple; the Greek, with feta and black olives; or the chicken curry. Dessert crepes include such sinful concoctions as chocolate and banana, peanut butter and Nutella, and brown sugar and cinnamon. Traditional egg-and-toast breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and pastas are also served.

I will say it at the beginning of the review just to clear this up, the crepeville in Davis in indeed a bit nicer than the crepeville in Sacramento, but stuck with travel limitation this one had to do. The food was great, and it definitely deserves a 5, some toppings on a crepe perfectly combined are absolutely uncomparable to others, the service is something i didn't have any problem with, as for the reviews consisting of the service and that only, i feel sorry for you, but that should only make a portion of your rating. As for me the service was also a 5. And finally the atmosphere was fairly nice, but something to really consider is the time you get there, arriving early in the morning is probably the best plan for a visit to this restaurant, for the place is spick and span and normally service has less stress on its shoulders, but it depends on your circumstances. According to a few others the food was bland. In contrast, the several times I've been to crepeville my food differed depending on the toppings I ordered, so just make sure you order flavorful ingredients that are in season. And finally we are brought to the cash only issue, personally i can understand why having to have bills on hand can be a problem, but if you're a patient person, or one who has time ( I know some like to dine here for lunch break ) I don't see an issue with using the ATM. But in the overall perspective the quality is in the details, so this is why crepeville only receives a 3. Happy dining, and choose your next meal wisely.

I checked out Crepeville for the first time a few weeks ago. Only down side is that you have to get money out of the ATM in the back to pay. They do not take ATM or debit cards. The food on the other hand was super yummy. I had the Manecotti crepe with the potatoes on the side. It was delicious and the portions were very large. I had to take half to go. Definitely a place to go check out. I think next time I am going to try the Raspberry Blintz!

Best Crepes in town!! I miss Crepeville and always stop in when I am in Sactown. Although most agree and enjoy the food and relaxed atmosphere, some have had some not-so-great experiences. Here are ShannyPie's hot tips to enjoying your visit to Crepeville: 1.) Bring cash (credit/debit not accepted- but there is an ATM in the back) and your appetite. 2.) Communicate- if you notice the people who ordered food after you are eating, and your still waiting, let the "server" know. Its usually a little understaffed, and they don't remember what order you ordered. It would be another thing if it was full service, but you ordered at the counter, remember? 3.) Its a small business, so don't expect a "safe corporate atmosphere." It won't be consistently awesome, or well staffed, but will always be worth the wait. 4.) Wear shoes, that's just common sense now.
