Prepare to wait. Hanger 17 has a nice look about it and was very inviting. The drinks were pricey but overall the price was decent. We waited an hour to get our food because of a shortage in staff in the kitchen. The food was very good except they messed it up. I did not complain because I enjoyed my meal anyway.

Very under rated!. I have been to Hanger 17 about 5 times, I live nearby and I have never had a bad experience, the food is always good and so is the service. If there's a game on there's a great crowd. I am sad to see it's received such low ratings and I hope it doesn't keep people from trying them! It's a great unique neighborhood place you can only find in midtown.

Worst service ever. My friends and I went to Hangar 17 on Saturday night and 3 of us ordered mojitos. Either the bartender didn't know how to make a mojito or she was lazy -- in either case, what she served us was undrinkable. When we complained (politely), we were treated dismissively. The bartender actually said, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" and made no offer to correct the problem. We asked if we could exchange it for wine and were served wine that had turned to vinegar. We will never waste our money or time in that place again. There are many places in Sac to get better drinks, better service and less attitude!

I will never go here again. I will never step foot in this establishment again. The food and drinks are way over priced. They attempt to pass themselves off as fine dining, but I would hardly consider it any better than pub food, with their wine and liquor selection being sub par.

Staff, and especially management are rude and inconsiderate. The general attitude amongst those who work there is that they have better things to do then serve the patron.

After leaving my coat there I called the next morning and talked to the manager to see if my coat was there. It was still hanging on the coatrack and asked him to put it in the office as I would come get it later in the day. He refused only saying he doesn't like people in his office. I came in that day to get it and it was gone. Management told me that I should have come and gotten earlier. He also told me that staff members will take them home some times, and occasionally bring them back.

So if you leave your stuff there the staff will take it home.

Pretty Chill Place to Watch a Game. Went here last Sunday, 11/9/08, to watch a football game. It is a sports bar after all! So yes, it's sorta noisy but not that noisy! The TVs in this place range from really good to good. The patrons are football fans, right now, so yeah there is noise, cheering, etc. The waitress wasn't that fantastic, she did her job, what more can you ask for?

Lately I get the impression that people think that waiters and waitresses are slaves. They're just people with jobs, that's what tipping is about, if they do a good job you reward them that way, if they Su CK, FU CK it! Don't tip them. At least she wasn't hovering around being annoying.

So we ordered some fries which were yummy. My boyfriend said that the weekend before, he'd been there and ordered a burger, the burger was all bun he said and so it was gross.

Cool place to watch a game. Seats are uncomfortable! Nice outdoor smoking area with pool table and tv.

manager and waitress have no idea of customer service and need to grow up. "asked manager to move tables manager would 'absolutely' not and started to argue with me and instead of trying to find a solution just wanted to be right. Even injected sarcasm towards me.

The manager is clueless when it comes to customer service.

Then he and the waitress decided not to serve my party. Waitress just walked back and forth and would not serve me.

The staff there need to not take complaints personally and find a solutions instead of trying to be right.

Manager is real idiot and waitress has no clue and needs to grow up."

Stay away!!. Went to this place because of the reviews we have read. The place is really noisy and no one came to seat us. Once seated, we were tried to order appetizers, we were told that the lumpia was "all sold out." 10 min. after our order was placed, the waitress came back and told us they were out of the pork chops. Ordered something else. Once the entree finally came, the potatoes were cold and there was a large piece of raw potato in the mix. We alerted the waitress and she said that "Sometimes that happens." No apology or anything. We asked for our bill and she took about 15 min. to finally bring it. The tables are sticky, the booths are dirty and the service and food were awful!! Best to go next door to Ernestos!!

Fun atmosphere, Good food, Great value. My husband and I stopped by here on Saturday night for dinner around 7:30. It was fairly busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. The food was great; it arrived promptly, piping hot, well-presented, and it all tasted great. We ordered the panko prawns for our appetizer and then he had the Rock'n Pasta and I had the Chicken Carbonara pasta. Our waitress was prompt, cheerful and knowledgeable about the menu. It's a sports bar, so there are several big TVs around the room, which can be loud and distracting--but you probably wouldn't go here for a quiet, romantic date anyway. The best thing about the place is the value. We each had a cocktail, plus the appetizer and entrees and we got out of there for about $55 -- including the 20% tip. The decor is very fun and urban and the atmosphere relaxed and informal, yet trendy enough to still feel upscale. We give it 9 out of 10.

Under Estimated!!!. Bottom line, Hangar 17 is really under estimated. The food is excellant and you can't beat the prices. Cocktails are very reasoable priced and you can't beat the excellant service . (Ask Ray who bartends in the evenings to do the Happy Dance!)

Believe me, try it and you will be wondering why you haven't been there before!

Blaring plasma TVs coupled with high-end comfort food make for an upscale sports bar.. In Short
Olive green walls, low ceilings and dim amber lighting would create a sullen, cozy ambiance if not for the cheers and jeers of spectators coming from the open bar area. The cuisine ranges from sports-bar chic such as fried calamari, hamburgers and pizza to more refined dishes such as bacon-wrapped scallops, chicken piccata with angel hair and grilled skirt steak. Featured are a number of signature drinks, including five different fruit-flavored mojitos.
