Best Indian Food in greater Folsom area! – I have been here a few times with friends, and every time we go, we are impressed. The Lunch Buffet is cheap, 10$, and the food is to die for! They have so many options to choose from, and it all tastes absolutely homemade. All of the items are fresh, and very VERY good. The Owner is awesome, and every time we come he treats us like his special guests. The first time we went he brought out a free appetizer and dessert, this man knows his customer service! They occasionally have belly dancers that perform, and they are not only talented, but beautiful too! this place rocks, if you want good cheap fresh food, in an awesome atmosphere, then go to india house in folsom.
Five Star Indian Food-Awesome Service, Great Flavors – Absolutely love India House. It's my favorite restaurant because of the wonderful service and exceptional food. I always get the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegi Korma, Lamb Sheik Kabobs, and Butter Naan. Also, the buffet is great, with a nice variety of items Veg and Non-veg. 5 Stars.
OH MY GOD GOOD INDIAN FOOD!! – Ok, so I'm not an expert on Indian food (I do know how to make a few passable dishes, but nothing fancy), but I have eaten at a lot of Indian places and I'll swear to you on anything you want that this is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Their onion naan is to die for, completely fresh with onion chunks cooked into the dough, and their Maharana dinner for two is a perfect sampling of non-vegetarian cuisine, though they also have the Maharani dinner for vegitarians which has a great sampling of their traditional punjabi dishes. I especially loved the Chicken Tikka because it wasn't super-super spicy and the vegetables were perfectly cooked, not to crunchy, not too soft, and the lamb cooked in spinach was so delicious that I was really sorry I couldn't eat more of it. The ONLY downside to the food at India House is that you get so stuffed you couldn't eat another bite, but you really, really, really want to. Thank god for carry-out boxes.
