Best pedicures and facials. Although I don't use the salon for my hair, I feel so fotunate to have the spa-part of Strands close by my home. Catita does my pedicures and I love the privacy and the one-on-one treatment. She's fun and darling and although I know she must be stressed at times, I've never once seen it on her smiling face. And the facials are the best ANYwhere. I always have facials when I travel so it is quite the compliment to say best 'anywhere' because I mean anywhere from here to New York to Montreal to Los Angeles. The place is meticulous which is of utmost importance to me. Treat yourself and spend some time in their comfortable digs upstairs.

Great Service with an Upscale Look without the Upscale Attitude. Well....since I just moved to Sacramento 5 months ago, I have been flying back up to Seattle to get my hair done. That is until last week when I saw Kristen at Strands. I walked in and right away was offered a beverage. It was nice to have something besides coffee, tea, or water offered to me. Kristen did a partial foil and cut for me. I was a little skeptical but, she was wonderful. She listened to me ramble on end and never made me feel uncomfortable or out of place...Go and see her.
