Tax error disappointment. Owen and Zennes were great for payroll support, but when I really needed them at tax time after my first corporate return went bad they failed me. I had to repeatedly ask for an appointment to review the return when I sensed something was wrong and panicked. Even after asking pointed questions about the area where the error was, Owen didn't check the work but just kept justifying it. I had to get another CPA to review it to find the $3,000 error, which was really disappointing and surprising given the good experience I'd had having BBV do my payroll and being very responsive. At the end Owen said it was their software at fault, which did not help my loss of confidence a bit. They did at least prepare an amended return to fix it.

Amazing Customer Service. After working with several other local CPA's I came across Better Business Ventures. Everyone that I spoke to in the office was friendly and informative. BBV has seen me through the transition from a partnership to an S Corp. What I felt was going to be a scary change proved to be seamless. The staff of BBV is very proactive in assuring that all payroll and tax forms are handled in a timely fashion. I always get a quick and concise response to any questions that arise. I have referred a number of friends and associates to use the services of BBV as I have every confidence that they will be thrilled with the service.

VERY GOOD TAX ADVISE.. Better Business Ventures--Sacramento, CA

IT IS WORTH A VISIT TO THIS COMPANY. VERY GOOD ADVICE.

Owen provided very good advice that will allow me to deduct the TOTAL HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM for my husband and myself. Rather than the minimal precentage deduction allowed by the IRS for small businesses. In 2009 I will be taking his advise and my tax burden will be less.

He also explained other ways to beat the tax burden. All within legal IRS rules.

Thanks For All You Do!. As a small business owner I have had my share of questions and frustrations with starting out in a new business. Better Business Ventures is on my side in this adventure and Owen and his team are not only helpful but have helped me to make more money at what I love to do. I recommend them for tax help and help in organization of the financial end of your business, you know what I mean, all those forms the government sends you and you have no idea what they are for!! I pay for knowledge and positive attitude. BBV never stops taking in knowledge. They are on top of every change in the law. No matter what your business is you will be advised correctly. I'm talking corporate laws, real-estate laws as well as small business. And may I say, the most honest group you will ever do business with too. If I was doing their marketing they would be charging way more for their services, but we wont tell them that. We will just tell them how happy we are to have our financial world in their trusted hands. CV

Professional Tax and Payroll Service. My wife and I opened our business 6 months ago, and we were referred to BBV Inc. by a friend. We met Owen and his team and knew right away we had found the right company to take care of our needs. They handle both our payroll and personal taxes. Their fees are fair and their advise is very helpful. As a start-up business you have a lot of questions and we found that Owen and his team were a phone call or email away from answering those questions. We highly recommend them for their professionalism and honest way of doing business.

PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, TIMELY. I have been using BBV for about 8 years now and find their service perfect. THere have been some minor mishaps, but they have been corrected immediately and professionally. I totally recommend their total service package. My wife opened a company last year and the staff has been doing her payroll and taxes with no problems. WIth BBV's help we have saved thousands during these years. Owen and his staff are continually getting ongoing training, more even than is required by law. For that I respect him and am grateful.
