Worst Food...Worst Service!. Beware: Worst Food and Worst Service at this location! My stomach is cramping. Fresh Seafood... Not !!! The oysters were NOT fresh. Having spent seven years in Eureka California, I enjoyed a myriad of oyster meals...baked on the shell, stewed, fried, sauteed -- I know what a fresh oyster looks like, smells, like, and feels like. My father worked in Lazio's Seafood Company on Humboldt Bay and brought home fresh seafood of all kinds. Oysters, a family favorite, were consumed weekly. As an adult I have even stopped by Drake's Bay to have fresh raw oysters - yum! Such a delight to have a fresh oyster shooter with a sprinkle of lemon juice and a drop or two of hot sauce. So, yes Monterey Bay Canners on Bercut Drive, when I tell your staff that the oysters were not fresh you can trust my judgement. A legitimate comment on the quality of the food should not enrage your managerial staff. Good Customer Service is not served up at this Monterey Bay Canners location.

Bad food. Don't come here.. Absolute horrible experience. Food was bad. Paid 23 dollars for the cold sampler that consisted of bad oysters, old sashimi, old shrimp and plastic wrapped saltine crackers. Told the waiter that the oysters tasted funny, and he told us that it is because it is the type of the oyster. He comped us with two lousy shrimps. Literally, two shrimps. The two shrimps had tails that were turning black because it is so old. The decor is really outdated too. Bad food, don't go there. Better to just cook ramen at home.
