Incompetent Front Office Staff. I told staff at Massage Envy in Fair Oaks that I couldn't afford the $49 a month membership plan. Veronica told me that they had a $39 program. I said okay. She explained the the $39 charge would include some administrative fee of $10, bringing the total back up to $49. I realized after a few months (and after reviewing my contract) that I had been deceived.

At no time did I receive ** any ** services priced at $39. And when management (Theresa) was informed of the issue, she reponded with "Well if you cannot afford $49 per month, it is just as well that the contract has been cancelled (by me)."

What a nice thing to say. You know when you get a snotty manager, you can rest assured that her employees have learned by her example. I guess ME can't afford quality front office employees.

I suggest you take your dollars and find a local masseusemasseur. They may cost more in the end, but you don't have to deal with incompetent front office staff.

BTW, I never had any problems with my massages -- they were all wonderful and very relaxing. The hot stone massage was to die for.
