good salon, easy location

I was heading to vacation last month, and wanted one stop service for pedicure, nail fill, and bikini wax. Wax was great, pedicure was good, but nail fill was teriable! The tech immediately cut my cuticle, was very rough even after I warned her a few times. My nails turned out very thick and took quite a while to complete. The real kicker was for a high end salon, the nail station, and products didn't look any better quality, cleaner, or high end then the $15 or $20 nail only salons. I will probably head back for a wax, but not nail services.

Also the workers chatted with each other most of the time I was there which does not really promote a relaxing and peaceful environment.

Good work, no issue with cost

I've been there a few times; my haircuts are no more than $20. While it's possible I receive a quiet discount because I'm a friend of a friend and I tip well, it's impossible to believe I'm being given half off the normal price. Check with your stylist about pricing for what you want done beforehand.

nice place, but expensive

I recently moved to Elk Grove from Sacramento and was in need of a haircut. Nothing special- just two inches off, and my layers brought up. I went to Escape because it had great reviews, and other reviewer said that her haircut was $30.

Betty did a wonderful job on my hair, but charged me $40 for less than 20 minutes of work. With tip, it came to $46- far too pricey for a simple trim. I will not be going back.
