Best Thai Food - Best People. What can I say? Bangkok Garden is almost my second home. I've been a regular customer since it opened on Area Blvd and it is my favorite place to eat in Sacramento. The food is excellent and there is no problem with substitutions if you can't/won't eat an ingredient. My favorites are the spicy eggplant, spicy catfish, yellow curry with fresh tofu and chicken, and the pad seew...but there's really nothing on the menu that I don't like. If you want a treat try "Lin's Lunch Special". It's not on the menu but is a variation of the chicken satay with fried rice and a small cucumber salad.

The entire Bangkok family are some of the nicest people that I've ever met and the restaurant itself is small but very beautiful. I have a great dining and social experience every time I go there which I intend to keep doing for a long long time.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!. We like Thai food and have been to several restaurants in the area. Bangkok Garden is by far the best. I especially liked the smoked eggplant with seafood and the spicy catfish. Watch out for Thai hot unless you really do like some fire with your food. If you are unsure you may want to start with medium spicy. I hope that at some time in the future, they will offer salmon as a special when in season.

The service is also excellent. If this restaurant has a failing, it would be that they don't use traditional Thai music in the background. It is also a pretty small restaurant and fills quickly.
